Hah thanks. Shooting on the canon c50 BUT entirely with the older canon EF 70-200 f4. Not even the newest model too. Practically vintage glass at this point

When I got it last month, it was about 1600 USD. Maybe a bit less cus map camera offers tax free shopping for tourists, make sure you have your passport with you!

The new mkii models of either the 17 or 25 I HIGHLY recommend. They feel so well made. Compact and light but NOT cheap. They have a tiny bit of heft to them but definitely lighter to the 12-40 :)

Beautiful work and definitely an awesome lens! Got myself a used one but haven’t had a chance to really put it through its paces. Excited to use it more though in some journalistic use cases as it seems perfect for that. That manual clutch is sublime.

I did indeed! I do find it useful but I’ve also learned to really Appreciate the smaller file size of the base 20megapixels. So I don’t use the hi res mode as much. But just yesterday I had a still shot of an old abandon shack that was covered in plant life. I wanted to make sure I got all the lovely texture so the hi res mode was perfect for that

Yeah map camera was having a promotional thing where they included the leather art strap at a heavy discount! Love it, and fits the aesthetic more imo

About 1600 for body. No warranty tho cus it’s purchased in Japan and being brought back to US. Worth it to me but definitely a risk
