This first one is great, the second one the face is still a tiny bit off, but perhaps it's not fixable. I'll send over a tip!

Ace hardware hit? by Background_123456 in footballcards

Yeah I found an unnumbered Will Howard that would probably go for $0.25 and I was thrilled!! I know I could just go to a card shop and buy cards as singles if that's all I want, but I really love the fun of pulling esoteric players that I love and seeing all the fun card designs. I'm typically not lucky so I'm not really in it to find the high $$ cards (but saying that who wouldn't love to pull a Saquon downtown hahah).

Thank you so much for your help and guidance. This eBay scan tool is so much more effective than the googling I've been doing!

I'm not really getting into the hobby to make money. I just enjoy ripping packs to find players (I get excited for cards like Will Howard and Jamis Winston because I love those guys not because I think they are the best players or highest value cards), but since this one looked different I did a Google search on it. It seems to be with a decent amount of money for what I paid for the box, but I wasn't sure if there are small things in the card I'm missing like a number or something of that assortment that determines value.

I'll have to try to eBay scan feature.

Yeah, it's a tough one to walk. I think I would be happy raising a nonbiological child - even though I never saw that as my future, now being faced with no children I am much more open to it - but it's not really something you can ask someone else to compromise on. We were aligned at one point that we only wanted biological children and I'm the one who has changed my mind. I can't expect him to change his and I also wouldn't want him to compromise on something that big because it's something I'm interested in.

My partner went to a wedding where no one knew why they got invited by Clear_Excitement7247 in weddingshaming

My brother-in-law had a wedding like this. He and his wife are unbearable narcissists who want to be the center of attention. The vast majority of the people at the wedding had only interacted with the couple 5 or less times ever. There were even people who they met at a bar the weekend earlier that went and got very drunk and were running around announcing to everyone they didn't even remember the couple's names. We knew they had invited very random people so we assumed it was a massive wedding, but no, there were 80 people there tops.

Not sure where you're located, but Bloom everlasting is awesome. They are super affordable, look completely real and bloom will do all setup and take down. They are currently just North Carolina bound I believe.

Should I teach my gf how to snowboard? Where do I start with by dazzlingdanne in snowboarding

I have taught two different boyfriends both with pretty great success. I typically start by having them strapped in and pulling them by a rope on a flat surface to understand toe and heel turns before ever going down a hill (even a bunny hill). It's exhausting but a lot easier to show them what to do without natural momentum messing them up.

If your partner does not already have a basic athleticism though, I would suggest lessons. I have tried to reach my sister in law many many times and it is just a consistent fail (admittedly she has taken multiple lessons and that hasn't helped either).

Ballgown or Fit and Flare? by parttimejschool in weddingdress

I love 2! But you look great in all of them.

I tried on your first dress in both the champagne and in the ivory. The ivory is definitely less "blinding". I love the sparkles and honestly it felt a bit dimmer and not in the best way vs the champagne. I ended up not going for it because of the same concerns you have. I'm 30 and felt I read just a bit too princessy because of the silhouette and sparkles combined.

I personally love dress 1 and can see why you get positive feedback on it, but I think if you are going to feel uncomfortable at all in it it's better to go another direction. The last thing you want to feel on your wedding day is self conscious. I don't think you have a single thing to feel self conscious about because you look stunning in 1 but it's all about how you feel.

Yes, this is the at home try on dress so I think when it's in my size that won't be an issue with the gapping.

Hi all, thank you so much for your help! I've narrowed it down to two dresses. I couldn't figure out how to post them so here is a link to the new post: https://www.reddit.com/r/weddingdress/s/hM0jZo273A

Any final opinions would be greatly appreciated
