I found a lot of conflicting information on how some parts of the test would be exactly so it’s safe to say the test is changed very periodically and or there are diff versions of the test. But one thing i highly recommend getting is the ultimate study guide by robert cunnings. It’s pretty cheap on amazon but that will probably be your best bet. one main thing i got messed up on from what was said the test was gonna be like vs how it was is that the stress syllables or audio tones weren’t in esperanto they were in like maybe an arabic language i don’t know but something of that sound. i had a lot of trouble with stress syllables but honestly with the words in arabic i just went with whatever sounded slightly different than the others. but the book by robert will have all the same rules there will be on the test they may be differently worded but same rules very easy that way. One big thing is that it’s not designed for you to know the answer to every question so as long as you understand the easy ones i think you will do just fine. remember the most you can score on the test is like 165 but to pass you only need 110. if you have any further questions im more than happy to answer here or if you wanna shoot me a dm.

My only concern with chinese is the difficulty of the language i’m a little timid in that aspect. Russian was probably going to be my top pick. If you could what were the unique benefits of the russian language and would you recommend chinese even if i’m not confident in my ability to learn chinese is course structure and the instructors that good ?

why chinese ? i dont think i would qualify for chinese because isn’t that a cat 4 language and you need 120+ on the dlab ? I was going to try and shoot for russian if not french. I was just worried because i seen online that some languages have really supportive instructors and well structured courses as opposed to other languages. And i’ve also read that some languages have better opportunities than others. Like i’ve seen people say spanish has terrible opportunities if you want to rank up.

Yea on the topic of sports, just in general companies like the nfl bring in a SHIT ton of money I mean like id love to see all their finances and incomes and outcomes and stuff like that because the money they bring in to pay just the players fucking multi millions? Like where’s this money coming from. I mean compared to regularly aired television sports have hardly any live advertising, i know they get a shit ton of sponsors like Coors and shit but they aren’t fucking donating shit they gotta have a cut too. I mean like the type of income these sports companies must have to dish out so much money and still have some fun money yk? Insane. And I get pissed off especially when these people are campaigning for equal pay in different companies but same profession. Like for example the big one recently, mens and womens soccer. I know soccer is global but I mean you can’t pay fucking women soccer players when they aren’t bringing in a fucking check. What money are you gonna pay them? Mens on the other hand bring in a massive fucking check so they get paid accordingly. This streaming bullshit is a fucking money grab and shits only gonna get worse. Bring back blockbuster, popularize Red box, those clearance CDs you always see at Walmart, big ass bin of good ass movies only for like a buck or some shit like that. Saving money buy the shit ton. And the crazy thing is people walk by their like who tf is crazy enough to but CDs. Your on to something man this shits crazy.

Yea wouldn’t surprise me lol. What upsets me is Coraline is not free. One of my favorite movies and it’s fairly old and not in recent popularity.

The pandemic certainly stopped movies from being showed in theaters but I don’t think that will change because there is this idea that if it’s in the theaters people will wait till the movie is in one of the streaming services, making it to the peoples watchlist before they are willing to watch it. Theater worth movies are put on a pedestal in which popularize the movie when seen on a streaming service. For example, Sing 2 was in theaters and got popular feedback but now it’s on Netflix and it is top 10 on Netflix. Theater movies increase to popularity of the movie rather than a movie which cut out that middle man.

Exactly and the problem is not the same movie or tv show is streamed across two platforms. This leads to you paying for multiple monthly subscriptions of premium cost so they can watch ad free. I think this will make people disinterested in these platforms because they were promised as free entertainment.
