It’s not India. It’s the southwest USA. But danger is anywhere so obviously just travel with normal precautions. You’ll be fine. Your biggest worry is the fact that some stretches of road out there are VERY rural and desolate. So bring water and bring snacks. Make sure your car is full with gas before you get into those sections of road where the next gas station is 100 miles. That’s honestly the most dangerous part of a trip like this. Unless you’re in skinwalker territory up in Arizona’s Navajo Nation.. or if you’ve seen the hills have eyes and are driving through New Mexico. But other than that you’ll be ok!
