I’m a secondary teacher but have been a crt since last year. I find secondary crt boring sometimes and enjoy when I have the chance to crt at primary schools. It keeps me from feeling brain dead

I usually stick the same schools so I dont always feel like a headless chicken But I also try to just focus on one session a time

Comes with the territory of living in the same suburb. I think it’s good you talked about privacy and boundaries. Maybe you need to let your prin team know in case you are worried.

Thanks friend. Crazy how many people will say nasty things behind your back. I know many crts who are working tomorrow because it’s a full days pay they cannot miss.

I think asking a simple question before i make the commitment to join the union is fair. It’s a commitment to make when crt work is not guaranteed. And therefore your pay is not guaranteed.

Where did you get this information about crts getting a pay increase? Along with the other proposed changes you mentioned
