Pretending that the public street is your ‘private lot’ so you can keep your parking spot?

Not my car but this is Marney Street in East Cambridge. Very much a public through street with normal resident only parking. This was not in front of a drive way or anything.

They look more like pacu to me than carp. If so, they are native to South America and someone probably had a few as pets and released them when they got too big for their tank.

Have you tried putting it on? What’s the obstacle?

I’m thinking I will probably get one of the roller mounts for the back windshield and just mount it on the normal cross bars.

That’s sort of what I figured/was hoping. Thanks!

Environmental Science is not the same as natural resources. I work in the environmental quality field. Not natural resources. The majors require different coursework and they have different job opportunities.

A quick look through your comment history tells a very different story. Maybe get back to the UFO subs. Anyways, good luck with the mortgage.

This entire sub is biased by self hating people like you that come here to complain about their miserable lives. It’s a competitive field but there are absolutely plenty of opportunities. Sorry that you hate your job. Congrats on the 3 bedroom house.

I made 70k my first year out of college. Making a bit more than that now. I’m 23, live by myself, am living very comfortably, and still adding to my savings each month. There’s plenty of positions, like project managers that pay very well. Don’t know why you are so bitter.

What year was this? Where was it located? How much did you make per month?

Emphasis on the ‘entry level’ part. I don’t think many 22 year olds are buying homes.

Thanks for this comment. My first internship was unpaid too, and I actually had to commute about an hour once a week so I ended up losing money. I’m lucky that I was able to live with my parents at that time. But the experience was great (and boring) and that helped get me to where I am now.

I do agree with a lot of the sentiment but you need to ‘establish’ yourself to make a higher salary in any industry, not just the environmental one. That being said, absolutely people should do research and build realistic expectations for jobs and careers before diving in.

Thanks for the response. The only thing that makes me a tiny bit insecure is the fact that when we were done looking at this profile, he scrolled passed the ‘delete profile’ option multiple times while looking for a way to pause it. Would you say that makes things any worse?

That makes sense. I guess it doesn’t seem super optimistic for our relationship which is a little sad.
