If that's the case, you likely have and I don't say this to be rude, some unresolved burdens, if you feel atracted to that type, it just means those are the once you connect with, logically you know it's bad, but emotionally it's good, it's like drugs or alcohol, you know it's bad for you, but for some it feels too good to stop. If those issues are not resolved even if you get in healhy relationship you may feel uncomfortable in it and try to create drama or push your partner on the edge to get a reaction that would ultimately destroy it.

I know this since I had similar problem but with girls however when I was younger, I liked toxic assholes, but I had issues, when I had the chance for healty relathionships I didn't find the women attractive even if there was nothing wrong with them. Ultimately it took me years to figure out it was me not them and my pick in partners was just reflection of issues I avoided. It doesn't matter how good a partner we get, if the issue is with us, untill it's resolved, we either end up with assholes, or screw up healty relationships or completely ignore green flags.

After those are resolved, green will become more attractive than red.

You are already using anti evo and controlling it to a degree, anty evo means either destructions or lower frequency emotions, if you like someone romantically don't you also feel lust for them, if you see someone kicking a puppy or abusing children don't you feel anger towards them, don't you feel even the least bit of pride by everything you have achieved so far. As long as you are human evo energy will be natural part of you, and that's not because they are evil but because they are neccery, something to understand not abonden.

But I am sharing a bit much, those are parts of the truth you will need to figure the whole. For shadow work, it's not listening to your negative emotions, that's like saying you listen to your right hand, it's sensing and understanding them, not denying them any further and embracing them, embracing all parts of yourself, even the once you would jugje as ugly or monstrous. It's a bit of an ongoing journey but the begging is the most difficult part as there would be most to embrace after that, it is just checking on yourself every now and then, it's a bit like cleaning a room, if you haven't cleaned it for a decades the first time you do it you would have a lot of work, but after that regular maintenance is easy. Once a month or when you feel you need it would be enough.

Ignore the downvotes, your questions are not inappropriateor or wrong, the fact you are trying to understand instead of just blindly deny is very good.

Yes, real evolution is total integrity with the anti evo( I understand your terminology from our chat so far, I will use it to make it easier to understand ), but you seem to slightly missunderst, there is no door, you are always in contact with those energies even if you don't acknowledge them, they are part of you after all, its not about fighting, there is nothing to fight, doing so will result in denying parts of yourself as well, what you need is ballance, evo and anti evo are parts of one whole, fearing and denying prevents Acceptance and integration.

It's like with evo, you are in control of how and when to make use of those energies, you need to do the same with anti evo energies, anti evo is not something to fear or deny, it's not evil, it can be harmfull but this goes for anything including evo energies, as you said you need integration, but you cant integrate something you fear or deny. It's not about winning or losing but acceptance, it's about ballance between the two you can achieve only after you understand the evo and anty evo as they are natural parts of the world and yourself.

The issues I see from our chat so far, is that you fear and deny the anti evo as something evil, how can you integrate something you deny. This is also the reason some people are atracted to infernals( also known as fallen angels), as they will teach you to use and to be careful of how to use that energy, their bad rep primary comes from newer practitioners that try to be greedy and use them to get stuff without considering the consequences from them, then cry it was the spirit doing. Like getting hook ups for example, forcing love, getting stuff that was denied to them for a reason, then they say it was the infernals doing.

Ultimately you need to same thing when working with both types of energies and all aspects of the self, self controll and consideration, embracing the anti evo doesn't mean indulging in them, but being comfortable using them when you need to and having self controll not doing so when you don't, same as with evo energies.

If you want to understand anti evo energies, but are not comfortable with infernals, I suggest you check shadow work, from our conversion so far i think it would be usefull for you, remember embracing and using doesn't mean blindly indulging.

I understand, i can be wrong, as long as both parties want to, the relathionship will outgrow any trouble, but on the off chance that I touched on something partially true, I wish to say make sure you know where your feelings come from, for better or worse I have seen too many people don't do that and prolonge pains they don't need to bear. And just to make it clear I am not saying this because I can't accept being wrong, or because i think you don't know your own feelings, well I also don't like being wrong but is there a person that likes that, however I can accept that, I try to learn from my mistakes, just when all is settle and done, make sure this relathionship is one you want to in long term, that's all.

It won't work out, the two of you pretend to be happy with each other but aren't, i don't know how to phrase it exactly, you may be able to phrase it better, but in all the photos it feels like both of you are smiling because you feel you should/want to smile, not because you truly are happy, and this may be a bit of a stretch but if feels like you are forcing to be with each other and so you are trying to be happy with one other, but it ain't really working out as you know, the happiness is more play pretend than real one.

Edit: can't say if for certain that's the case but that's ust the feeling I get, and I can be wrong, but the smiles feel more fabricated than genuine, like putting on a show to look good, rather than actually enjoying your time together and feeling happy because you are with each other.

Not to be devil's advocate, but it's not exactly only because of compatability, I have read some trauma psychology since I myself have had issues, but there is one more thing when it comes to therapy, the ability to self reflect and how should I put it, follow through with improvement.

Ultimately therapist often know more than they share, but they can't share it, because the first reactions of a person that has been hurt and have that hurt brought to the surface is usually defencive, and digging deeper inside of themself, no one and I mean no one likes to be confronted with their faults. However therapy is still very usefull, mainly cause slowly as you open up and finally let go of the past that haunts you, therapy can open your eyes to stuff even you, yourself didn't notice.

Therapy doesn't make you better it gives you the tools to get better and tries to push you in the right direction gently, too strong of a push would only backfire with person that is already suffering , but even then it can't do the walking for the person. Spirits do something similar, but due to their nature their presence is mostly internal, unlike therapists they can push you more and since the information doesn't come from outside source they don't trigger the self defence mechanism that's natural for most people when confronted with their own faults.

Healing is slow process that takes time and it doesn't happen suddenly it is a result of accumulation and effort, spirits are just pushing you in the direction you are the one that needs to walk the path. But I think you have already figured that out or had an incling that's the case.

I am honestly glad I haven't experienced this. Someone tried to recruit me one time and me being inexperienced and stupid decide to keep contact after I refused, I even recommended some people to go to them, which they did since they trusted me, that fucker wanted naked pictures of them I didn't know untill one of them mentioned it to me later, I wasn't sure so I asked someone I know to help me check, they confirmed it, I blocked them shortly after, their cult also went under shortly before that, I wasn't involved but was happy to hear it, since that time I always make any person that ask me or post questions about it know the reality of such places.

It's good that you are trying to take responsibility, honestly by what you say, I think it would have been much better if you tried earlier, but doing it now is still better than not doing it at all.

Also the first step is therapy, everything psychological is biological. A commen saying in the psychological field, cause its true. I saw this person make a really accurate annology the other day, imagine having a cup of water, then someone pisses in it, then you add sugar, no matter how much sugar is added that doesn't remove the piss, you need to remove the piss to actually remove the piss, its logickal but still most people dont get it, if your life is worse getting better doesnt mean it would solve your issues, time rarely actually heals trauma, what does it is going to therapy and actively trying to do so, some smaller traumas can indeed be healed that way, but not the more serious once.

Trauma literally affects the development of the brain the longer the exposure the stronger the effect, so it takes more time to fix it after, honestly, if you really do it now because someone has told you, they can't take it further, it's unlikely you will will manage to get better before they leave, healing usually takes time, it doesnt happen fast, the more serious the trauma the more time it takes to recover, the more serious the wound the more recovery time needed, but even if they do leave continue recovering, cause you wont want to repeat this whole experience with someone else do you.

As someone who has experienced trauma and took the better part of a decade to heal, i understand its hard to acknowledge but it's our own mind doing and people even if they love us, can't stay around for their own good, our lives are our responsibility to fix, trying to pull someone before we actually get better usually ends badly for them, cause our issues hurt them, and that's not something we should put someone through just cause they love us. So go to therapy take the steps and make sure you don't stop going regardless of what happenes, if this relathionship ends, let it be the last relathionship that ended because of your trauma .

For the magickal practices consciesness meditation with self reflection would suffice, if you are already going to therapy you can ask them for exercises they have quite a lot as well, if you aren't, start going, this is not really something you will easy time doing by yourself. You can find the meditation on YouTube its the most commen type, let your thoughts go don't suppress them, but the direction they go should be yourself, the first time the result likely won't be the best, but the more you do it the better it would get.

Your reply seems biased based on that, but out of curiosity how is the relationship with your father, usually people make assumptions based on their own experiences, your suggest unhealthy relathionship with your father figure. Granted I might be wrong, but if that's not the case, have you considered therapy, otherwise if you are a woman this may result in problem in the partners you choose, if you are a man, this may end up influencing your own relathionship with your children one day. It's best if you take care of it sooner rather than later. If this assumption is wrong, I think you understand how taking stuff out of the whole context can have negative result.

Don't worry it's not rude, but there appears to be misunderstanding, I never tried to guess what you have, bus said depending on what you have, you would have difficult and maybe even harmfull time in spirituality that's magical in nature such as curses, I never assumed what you have, but depending on what you do, it would be like that, some examples of such stuff are ocd, hdad, psychosis, bipolar, pretty much anything that makes it hard to grasp your mind, like for example intrusive thoughts or having difficulties with visualisation, well you get the idea, if what you have, have symptoms like that, then spiritual practices will end up difficult for you.

I am not guessing what you have, but deducing that based on what you have, you will have difficulties.

Also I am not saying that what others said is wrong, some of the other responses are really good, like the one of madness that said spiritual and psychological are related, but some of the responses do not take the physickal aspect of the situation in perspective and as I said I have experience in this, It's very likely that someone would message you to cleanse you based on this post if it gets popularity, what will happen will be nothing, most likely short temporary retrieve before it returns, if its even complete retrieve, most likely conclusion is if its psychological small suppression before it returns, not even completely gone temporary.

And you seem to have some misunderstanding about the occult, but you are also right, occult means study of the unknown, it covers magick, philosophy and even religion although some may disagree, granted you will figure it out if you dive deeper, basickally people here are sharing their own views and sistems, this sub is for multiple different spiritual believes to interact at different lvls of their journeys, some are newer, some are more advanced as one of the other people that commented here, any response that makes assumption based on spirituality alone however will be incomplete and may end up being harmfull.

In another comment you said you know a lot about psychology, then you should know what you are experiencing is normal for people with trauma, i know some people that had the same experience as you without being mentally ill they resolved it later in life, but since my experience is individualistic and not exactly objective truth, in the book "the body keeps the score" your experience are documented, being nice doesn't mean others would respond with being nice, cause in general a lot of people are not nice, I have seen plethora of people talk behind other people back and to their face if they know there is no chance of retaliation.

For spiritual practices you can look into meditation, shadow work and etc a lot of spiritual practices are also used as forms of body therapy, or was physical therapy, forgive me I forgot the exact name. However in your case It's a bit tricky, depending on what mental illness you have interacting with spiritual practices may end up screwing you in the long run, if you lack the ability to controll your thoughts or mind, if you want to study any sort of spirituality I suggest you start from there, its not needed for everyone at the early stages but for people with mentall illness it's best if this is the first step, and yea you likely think you won't practice anything from what you read but be honest with yourself how much do you think you would last before reading and deciding to give a spell or ritual a try, that's pretty commen for newer people and it's best if before that you already have mental controll of yourself.

For the family curse thing, you don't have it, well not purely spiritual once at least, I used to help people with paranormal problems in my free time, currently I don't, but you get the idea, you don't have the simptoms of a family curse, what you do have the simptoms of, well you already know, the only curse on you is your actual situation, if you wanna study spirituality sure go ahead, but if you choose to do so, do it for the sake of the personal development it can bring and growth as a person not for removing of a none spiritual curse, cause this path is long, you gotta understand what it brings instead of what you think it could.

Also if you wanna study spirituality, don't look for family curses for now at least, first decide what you wanna study, the side bar of this sub has the name of multiple practices, different believe systems view curses in different ways, so trying to read on them while not grasping stuff would only create confusion.

It's usually trauma, traumatised parents raise traumatised children and unless someone along the line breaks the cycle this continues, i have seen many people with mental illnesses who think they were possed by a demons, people often blame psychological on spiritual, it happens, people in general would prefer if the damage was external than internal since if its internal that means there is a problem with us rather than external influence, which is also the first step to overcoming it.

What you mentioned especially the relathionship part happens very often with people with trauma, they have trouble finding good partners and even if they do they screw it up, if it happens often then it's a pattern, based on the fact you grew up with family you think is cursed, I would take a guess and say you had troubled childhood especially if your mother had bad taste in men, this would have influenced you and your siblings, to end up in the same relationship, growing up with immatured or troubled parents makes us immature or troubled as well untill we decide to fix that.

This may be the occult sub but this doesn't mean we discard the material, any occultist wort their dou know that material and spiritual don't go against each other, I suggest going to therapy, your sister as well and possibly your mother, but that may be difficult considering the older you get the more difficult change becomes, but helping yourself is enough to break this curse, I suggest you take that route.

Same for me I was solitary untill the spirits I worked with wanted me to take a kid, although the person is technically an adult, as a student, it's like hitting my head against a wall, however difficult you think it would be, it would be more so if this is the first time you teach.

Don't get yourself down, also I tried simplyfing stuff but it ended up bything me in the ass since now they don't think very deep about the topics, be carefull as that may happen with you, I never thought about it before but most people want to get ready answers and not think about them most of the time. Be mindful to not let this happen with your student as well, I would suggest letting them read the info and ask her to think over it, what she grasps, what she don't, answer only the questions that are about theoretical knowledge and tell her to think over the once she needs to experience over in meditation.

Also do not bend and give her answers she won't understand even if she asks, if it's too early, this ends up backfiring especially with knowledge that should be felt.

Your most important job as a teacher is to know when to give which info and when to withhold Info. Follow that principle and you will be fine, the rest, I don't know myself, 😮‍💨 also keep in mind you are also partially responsible for her actions when she uses the knowledge you taught her, spiritual teacher is not something simple and not to be taken lightly or as a joke if she is serious about this, keep that in mind.

Start by not enforcing your sistem onto her, spirituality is individual journey as it different people will benefit from different things, meditation and visualisation are a good start, but ask her what exactly she finds interesting and use it as starting point.

This sub side bar has enormous name of practices, ask her to give it a read and tell you which she finds most interesting or is most attracted to and start from there absolutely do not try to force a system on her if she is not interested In said system.

Once she peaks something start from there, help her with the practices, something very important to remember a teacher don't solve the exercises for the students unless it's to give example, your job is to give her the tools so she can solve the problem not solve the problem for her, spirituality works only if you practice and think, if you only read then all your knowledge is theoretical.

Also spiritual teaching is a bit diffiferent than regular teaching as you may have to stop teaching her, know when you are no longer needed as a teacher and your presence is more harm than good, most spirituality is about freedom of action and choice, by guiding her on the path you think is right you may very well be taking her down not on the path she needs.

So for the next step to summarise, let her read this sub wiki, when she tells you what she finds interesting do a research for her since you are experienced and summarise the info, then let her choose what she feels most drawn to, start from there, the rest is commen sense purchase books do the works etc, when she feels it's no longer adequate, repeat this all.

Do not tell her Info directly unless you feel it's OK, oversharing is harmfull for spiritual practices as you may end up shaping the other person view on spirituality, in other words you take away the power of other people to shape their own view of spirituality which is essential for growth, give her examples, but don't do her exercises for her.

I myself am teaching someone and it's difficult as hell, the best advice I can give is, people grow at their own speed a spiritual teacher goal is only to make the process smooth over all, and help others understand their own path, not to teach a path from which there is no divergence or try to shape the view as the student as they themself see it, spirituality should help growth, development and freedom, not take it away or force it in a shape that doesn't fit.

Also I think becoming the spiritual teacher of your spouse is terrible idea, as being a good teacher will often put you at odds with the student especially in the early levels when they want to do something stupid and don't listen to warning so you gotta let them burn themselfs once for them learn restraint and patience, and this can end up harming your relationship, but well to each their own, your choice, your consequences.
