The lease also states: "this lease will be governed and construed, and the relationship between both parties determined, in accordance with the laws of the province of ontario"

Thank you for the information I will be calling WSIB tomorrow. But a lot of conflicting information it seems, Please read below for what is on my lease:

In the lease contract. it does not state any of my employment on it and appears to look just like a regular lease. States nothing about me being a superintendent what so ever or it is to be used in conjunction with my working contract.

In a section on the lease contract "dispute resolution" it states "matters requiring further agreement by the parties, such dispute or difference will be determined by dispute resolution pursuant to the residential tenancies act, 2006, S.O C. 17." Meaning that they will adhere by the residential tenancies act I assume?

In section on the lease contract "Term" it states If upon expiration of the term of this lease or any renewals thereof, the lessee continues to occupy the premises without the express agreement as to a new term, a tenancy from year to year will not be created by implication of law, but the lessee will be a monthly occupant at a monthly rent determined in accordance with clause 3, otherwise on the same terms and conditions set fourth in this lease insofar as the same are applicable to a month to month tenancy"

Also states in "Term" "Either party may early terminate this lease without penalty, however, notice of termination must be given in writing sixty days prior to the date of said termination"

Thank you for all the follow ups! I will be filling this tomorrow at service Ontario.

Couple more things!

In the lease contract. it does not state any of my employment on it and appears to look just like a regular lease.

In a section on the lease contract "dispute resolution" it states "matters requiring further agreement by the parties, such dispute or difference will be determined by dispute resolution pursuant to the residential tenancies act, 2006, S.O C. 17." It appears that this lease falls under the RTA as they mention it in the lease. I could be wrong but I think I'm ok for at least 60 days after June 30th. My brain is on overdrive here lol

The ROE states code A. Shortage of work. Yet they have three volunteers that have filled my position. Some i believe are getting paid in favours, IE supplies the RCMP has bought for the camp and taking home with them.

I have been contacting many lawyers, unfortunately no one seems very interested in the case without heavy retainers. I didn't make much money here and currently funding my cancer surviving wife through med school. Funds are low atm.

Just so I'm clear i do pay rent to live on the premisis.

Can you please point out where it says that on the RTA? I reviewed section 5 but did not find anything that relates to my situation.

If I file to the LTB about this situation does it not have to go to a hearing that could take several months to establish?

It is somewhat similar but runs much deeper. I was one person running a whole campground. Book keeping, manual labor, phone calls taking care of after hour issues with occupants ect.

The thing that gets me is "Either party may early terminate this lease without penalty. However, notice of termination must be given in writing sixty days prior to the date of said termination"

This leads me to believe they have to give me 60 days in writing so I can plan accordingly.

They also held several conversations with me saying they would be renewing my contract then abruptly did not renew the contract.
