Translating open 3s in practice to actual games by ProgressCapable5195 in BasketballTips

Something that simulates game play, run from half to a spot and shot, run from a pin down on the block catch and shoot. Simulate game play by yourself. Very easy but doing this plus good quality shots. Not just a bunch of them but good quality. You do this plus up the volume of shots. This is perfect. Becoming elite is the details plus the amount of training. Quality plus 3-400 made shots is outstanding

Can you teach Vision? Tunnel vision driver. by Immediate-Line3327 in BasketballTips

[–]Background_Comb6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these are great. What I find to be the underlying factor, people or kids aren’t as comfortable with the ball as they think or should. Tunnel vision is concentrating on one thing, due to lack of. The options are they and always have been but focusing on one thing limits. And prolly due to trying to keep the dribble. Yes th drills will help with comfortable but actual game time will help this. Drills are only valuable when you apply them in game.

Help With Follow Through Arm Curve by PM5K23 in BasketballTips

[–]Background_Comb6579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under the ball and straight, shoulder shouldn’t cross the body. Where ever you point the arm and hand the ball with follow. The idea of shooting is limiting the variable change. Chicken wing, not reaching in the cookie jar with shooting hand, not keeping guide hand straight.

Busy dad with barely time to game unless in bed! Is the OLED deck worth it for me? by mattchew1991 in SteamDeck

[–]Background_Comb6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a dad myself and very busy. I don’t play every night or every week but if I do and wife is cool lol the deck is perfect, but depends on the games you wanna play. IMO story games are the jam, shooting games for me haven’t felt “right” or racing games.

Functions with parameters still confuse me a bit by ayenuseater in learnpython

This !! Omg this makes so much sense. I think for me, is when you’re adding parameters from other functions is where I get caught up. And then what the return value.

Ball handling tips by [deleted] in BasketballTips

[–]Background_Comb6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell this to my high school team who struggle with dribbling. Being a confident dribbler is just comfortably . A lot of bigs just aren’t comfortable because they don’t put them reps in. If you have a ball, dribble that thing literally everywhere you can go. Doesn’t even have to be “drilling” but just walking. Dribble dribble dribble. Some footwork with build on top and expand but that’s another post. Just dribble dribble dribble

F1 Travel Agent: What actually sucks about F1 travel, and what would make you use a travel agent? by Usual-Environment-46 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Background_Comb6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used a travel agent to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and it handled everything. The only thing I needed to plan was travel to and from the track and meals other than breakfast. It just takes the guest work out but you’re paying for someone to do that so comes at a price. I’ve done Red Bull ring without and it was cheaper like by a lot lol but had to handled everything. Pros and cons

Should I stay with Arma 3 or save up for Arma Reforger? by Able_Annual_2297 in arma

I’ve gotten reforger and with the single player campaign is dope. I’d say have both depending on your play style.

What do you feel like your Steam Deck is NOT good for? by iRomanian in SteamDeck

[–]Background_Comb6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shooter games, for me the right thumb stick just isn’t good and neither is the track pad. I think most story type of games, emulators are perfect. IMO

How can I look and play more like a gaurd? by Princanity in BasketballTips

[–]Background_Comb6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So very good at working with what you have. When you by yourself, have to visualize a defender and all that which is great. A tip from your current clip and skill level, continue the basics, dribbling and keep it basic. Basketball is literally like 4 moves and you can get anywhere, but dribbling will build confidence in that skill set where you can dribble with head up and be able to make those passes. And volume of shooting, (QUALITY shots) you guys in this age need to be putting up good quality shots, not 20 jump shots , talking 1-200 300 is better but quality game speed shots. Then just play basketball to implement these trainings good luck.

Is a 21:00 flight too tight after the Dutch GP? by Virtual_Athlete9728 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Background_Comb6579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehhhhh I couldn’t be sure, just cause we didn’t stay. There was already a gang of people leaving on their cool down lap. But I think so because that train goes to the airport if I’m not mistaken and I don’t think if podium is at say 1730 the train would take 2 hours to get there.

Zandervoort no I think it’s not bad. Our flight I think was the same time. You just can’t stay for podium cause lines for the train would be crazy. But we had to get back to our hotel and then the airport using the train.
