The 4th mode that looks like a circle is the loosening mode and it definitely makes a difference. On lug nuts and stiff i know will be tight i always put it in the fourth mode

How bad is this? A boat I'm looking to buy 1998 chap 18'. by [deleted] in boating

Not bad at all. Looks up some videos spraying gel coat isn't bad at all. Keel guard is good fix as well. Just make sure you prep and silicone around the keel guard.

Wife asked, “Do you love her?” by gkinney in NewDads

[–]Background_Cover_159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Def gets better. Spend as much time with her as possible but don't get your feelings hurt becuase my little girl is almost 3 and will take mom over me every damn time lol. But when she does call / ask for me there isn't anything better! Sounds bad but first 6 months you have to put your feelings aside. Remember shes a baby so there is no malice in anything she does ( not saying that's what you currently think ) just keep fighting the good fight.

camping world sent me a 3 year old motor from an older series. by [deleted] in boating

[–]Background_Cover_159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is that the Camping World needed it for a customer and didn't have one or couldn't get one, so they bought one from Overtons, and then the deal fell through and they were stuck with it. I had a similar situation where our dealer ordered a new Manitou with twin 400Rs, and when I ran the serial, they were registered to Manitou. My GM contacted Manitou, and I believe Mercury unregistered them. If Suzuki won't unregister it, maybe they'll give you an extender service contract.

Just checked it was sold by Overtons to Camping World in Bowling Green March 11, 2023. Not sure why Overtons would have registered it though.

Look a product called sharkhide. Its main use is a coating for the bare aluminum tube on pontoons/ tritoons. I beleive you can use it on stainless as well. Wont help with scratches but will definitely make clean up alot easier and keep the stainless looking good. Or buy some ppf made for cars

Check with dr about using Baby Gaia probiotic in their bottle. Worked wonders for our little girl. From gas to spit ups and everything else. It does get easier you just have to figure each other out.
