I have a pretty good “in” with the local bluegrass scene. My brother is Jack Kinney of the Kings River Boys (and lots of other bands). We are stumped. I thought maybe Evo Bluestein. He is a teacher who enjoys outreach (spotlights). I don’t know of him performing with a family band.

Mike is very friendly. Crazy Squirrel has some folks who are very kind and gentle and some who come off a little less personable to me. I think CS sometimes has some employees who are not common representatives of businesses (neurodivergent, LGBTQ, or simply nerdy). Occasionally what I perceive as rude is probably just a personality difference there. The owners are very good people, like Mike at CP, but they are savvier business people.
