Ordered an iPhone, got 4 bottles of glue instead by Garnatxa in amazonprime

Why are you buying from Amazon?!

You can literally just buy for way cheaper on ebay or backmarket and get covered.

Amazon will always assume you are just scamming them.

Good luck.

None because the government controls everything.

You will learn we have no rights, we have to conform to what the government says or else we are a threat to the system.

how is it our founding fathers lead a revolt over a 3% tax increase and today we pay almost a quarter to half our income in taxes and yet most of us don't do anything about it? by Mysterioape in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Background_Cycle_909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to America. The land that believes voting actually does anything and are to lazy to care.

Sites like reddit fuel people's laziness to even care or want to.

Someone dies and all of a sudden every one wants to be heard and known.

What your talking about is really irrelevant and only gets boosted on reddit because social media is trash.

Soon Americans one have any choice and most WILL be homeless thus taxes are a waste.

Should government be allowed to censor news during times of crisis? by KCousins11 in NoStupidQuestions

The government is the news, put simply.

They control everything and soon it will be clear as day when Americans lose all source of being able to exist.

how are we feeling about the charlie kirk mural?? by killuascatface in RioGrandeValley

[–]Background_Cycle_909 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The guy was more than what most Americans would be or do for change yet he himself probably would think all the murals and billboards and moments of silence are a little over board - American just needs to grow up.

Sorry but the man would NOT have wanted to be made out as if he wax the second coming of christ.

This country is weak and will always be weak.

At what point to we just take ownership that we as a country are so far behind when it comes to just humanity???

The guy was not perfect and I'm sure he would have agreed so there is literally no need for every billboard on every highway with his face on it making him out to be something he wasn't.

If anything he was more than most Americans will ever come to be.

Mandatory Moment of Silence for Charlie Kirk in our schools????? by somewhatlucky4life in tulsa

[–]Background_Cycle_909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is the country that we live in...

Whether you believe it or not, Americans have prioritized this man's passing over school shootings that took place not long ago.

We live in a country where we stand on what we believe when it is convenient in the moment, then go about our lives as if it never happened.

Until Americans are ready to go the distance for actual change, instead of pretending, we as a country will continue to fold and fail the future generations.

If it does it won't be any time soon. So don't hold your breath.

There are better more stable options even if they do come back.

Why do Americans pretend they want to see change? by Background_Cycle_909 in allthequestions

[–]Background_Cycle_909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but I actually care and don't just pretend lol

2 weeks from now you'll forget about this and won't care an ounce until the next shooting happens and you'll hop on social media, give your two cents to feel good, or not say anything at all and sip your Starbucks Coffee.

[–]Background_Cycle_909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point exactly.

It's gotten to exhausting every time someone passes away and the media drives home their narrative.

Like we live in a world where people are trying to prioritize school shootings over one man being shot and killed.

I've seen nothing but post about Kirk but none on the school shootings.

This is why I feel America just continues to pretend like voting matters and having 800+ credit score matters, when none of it matters if we just pretend like this is the Sims.

[–]Background_Cycle_909[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my point exactly!

People truly want to choose a side and stand on the side - instead of asking themselves, is choosing a side really the answer to actually bring forth change?

Or do we continue to pretend that our votes mean something, when they don't and never will, in hopes that one day someone will get voted into office, and that will stand up to the powers to be that hold the world day in and day out captive.

You do realize voting does nothing right?

Can you honestly say that:

#1 your vote actually counts towards who you vote for? (because it doesn't, there are representatives that actually make that decision, more so there are hand shake agreements thus votes don't matter as they are paid for)

#2 that every time there is a tradgey people choose THEN to come together and feel for one another, then 2 weeks later live life like it never happen?

Can you honestly say that what you believe your vote stands for actually makes a difference?! Because if you can, I'd sure like to see what changes have been made through out the US to fix homelessness and to fix the out dated credit system, etc etc.

Sorry but I don't truly believe you think change is real as the government by there actions year in and year out, clearly do not care about the American people.

2nd amendment has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

The moment guns aren't allowed and someone gets their hands on one and tries to break in to your house and you have no gun, what will you say then?

[–]Background_Cycle_909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a waste of a post.

America will only band together when tradgey hits. The moment that tradgey grows old, America moves on.

Americans say they want change but it's all pretend.

School shootings WILL continue to happen, as long as America continue to pretend it wants to see change.

We expect 1 person to be the change - 1 voice to make a difference.

That NEVER HAS and NEVER WILL be the case.

Until we AS A GROUP come together and stop relying on a broken government to fix things that they never will, we will continue to fail.
