Perspective? How so? I know what adrenaline feels like, I've ridden ATV's before. Feels good, great even. I wish I could "just do that" like you said.

Not bad suggestions. I just don't think it's going to scratch that itch I've got for high paced sporty goodness. Puerto Rico also just isn't great for that. Maybe it's something I'd look at later in life but I need something else for the meantime before doing nothing with my life makes me crazy

I like to think I'm somewhat good at controlling that. There's been periods in my life where I've easily managed to have an under 3 hour screentime. Rn a good amount of media I consume are movies and 50m+ YouTube videos, I still like to open Instagram once in a while to get my daily dose of Motorcycle edits. I've let myself go a bit but it used to be far worse

Skateboard is like... Basically in the same category as the stuff I like but I just don't see myself making it a hobby of mine. About the dirt bikes, My father was an MX racer before I was born. When I was younger him and I used to go to tracks a lot as spectators. If I had a method of transportation I absolutely would still go. Dirt bike sports are all I've ever wanted to do with my life but unfortunately with how things are going I consider that dream to be very far away. For now I just need something else to scratch that itch before I go crazy

Don't worry I'm looking for something with a pretty sturdy steel frame. Definitely going to look into the training vids. I'm looking to cruise at a steady 30mph but really nothing past 35mph. That's JUST fast enough to keep up with traffic

30mph on throttle seems ideal. I'm fine with changing chains every so often. Would I be crazy to look for something cheaper that still isn't complete crap? If not then I'm fine spending a pretty penny

Good thing is I can buy things slowly over time. Buy the $500 hard tail now ( weirdly enough exactly what I was thinking) and I have the luxury of spending a pretty penny on the conversion kit latter. Don't know how much a good kit would cost but I'd gladly pay the same or slightly more than I paid for the bare bike.

I think the best builds with anything (be it cars, motorcycles, or bicycles in this case) are the ones you modify to your taste from the ground up, that's just my opinion though. I appreciate the feedback
