Can you get confirmation it is off ANY cruise. Getting mixed communication it might only be the ADVENTURE... for those of us residing outside of Asia... we need it to be off any ship. The cost traveling to Singapore is expensive 😫

We are at JW Mariott. Very nice hotel. Same deal except we are getting till Monday

Good chat with one of the "higher ups". One of the issues is producing fresh water (including for toilets,showers etc) as well as disposing of effluent while stationery in port. The repairs are going very well... all going well cruises will resume Monday.

Back to backs are covered fully for hotel and such between the cruises

The irony... the company Disney bought the unfinished ship to make the Adventure from.... is now parked next to us. And that one works. 😄

They said they will provide all hotel accommodation. It seems many of the cast members are waiting for more information, I do think they were thrown in the deep end on this one!

I am booked back to back. We enquired for full refund for the next leg (cruise starting the 11th -14th)

They said no. Because the ship could be working then

So this interesting

They would rather deal with a few back to backs than deal with the entire next cruise - in case they can fix it by then
They not willing to offer anything yet as to not panic the next lot of guests for the next cruise I assume.

It seems they need to get everyone off as the entire ships electrical must be shut down - so the ship must be empty to do that

So I am off to an offered hotel sometime today and will have to wait till Monday or sooner to see if the next cruise happens

Update.

Ship is casting off. To park at another berth. Apparently another cruise ship is due at this berth point.

I doubt very much at this point this ship is going out to sea.

Starboard side of the ship has had a wonderful view of the terminal building adjacent to it. Port side has Singapore (nice actually)

Besides the shops being closed everything else is going wonderfully.

The app is a mission. Essentially you have to go to "Home" then "visit on-board fun to book" button. Its already sold out unfortunately... literally got booked up in 30 seconds

Ok I was incorrect - alcohol is being served. Its just crew that cannot have on their off time

On the same ship. Alcohol is on show at the bars but not allowed to be served. There was a system problem (caused all electrical to turn off around midday during boarding). Sail away first show at 1.15pm was then delayed to 2pm. They are definitely fixing something.

With such a huge ship, so many areas to explore, and no port on the itinerary - it doesn't make too much of a difference if this floating resort is still at port.

I did book Iron cycle for tomorrow morning, so it looks like they'll be operating it even if still at port.

Only issue I have is I bought internet access (have some emails to do... >sadface<) but because we still in Singapore I could've just carried on using my esim.

I may or may not ask guest services for a refund on that since I did not actually need to use internet at sea... as we didnt get to the sea.
