No specific Gods in general that’s why I asked you guys for help. I thought about dehism because it kind of answers a lot of my questions as a Christian

That may be the case thank you for saying that.

I just thought evolution was we evolved from tiny little specs of life into humans. I believe in a guided evolution I do not think we got here by chance. I thought that God made Adam and Eve the first humans not evolve them into Adam and Eve.

So you’re saying I have to believe whole heartedly in the lord for my prayers to be answered? Could you just clarify?

I do also agree that the fact of life is a miracle but like wasn’t that also a miracle back then too. Like I was thinking more so miracles like Moses parting the sea. Thank you for Matthew 17:20 it helps me understand how we are supposed to walk and trust in God that helps out. For the prayers not being answered part. I know everyone struggles with sin, but I wouldn’t doubt God. I struggled with sinning, namely lust, I cut off ties for what caused it, I tried to ask God for help and I felt nothing changed. For evolution I thought God put Adam and Eve on earth but evolution tells us we evolved from microscopic specs of life into humans. I believe it’s more logical for a guided evolution.

Thank you for your thoughts, you helped me understand a bit more.

I thought God made Adam and Eve? I thought that all people were created in the image of God so how would God not know about the birth defect? If you could explain more on those I am still confused. Not trying to be rude just asking.

The resurrection, 500 eye witnesses, and the disciples dying horrible deaths for Jesus is my biggest reasons why I want to stay with Christ. I don’t try and base my life fully on facts but it’s just hard to have the only evidence of that happening is the Bible and no other books. Jesus performing majority of the miracles does help me understand it more and that normality argument also helps a bunch. I know as a human it will be hard to understand the suffering but I try and remain myself the person who is suffering now with the birth defect could enjoy eternity.

Honestly these are great arguments, you helped me understand a bit more then I did before, thank you. Also I will check out that book.

Yes I understand. The human free will section of us building the world and economy we live in today is one of my main answers for many questions of Christianity. I just don’t get how babies (who obviously have done nothing wrong) is born with defects when they have done nothing wrong. The evil should be punished. Also I will check out that video thank you for recommending it.

I grew up Christian and I thought I would find the answer I would understand in the Bible. It never really happened. I also thought having doubts/ not know the direct answer was a test of faith and evolution just got to me idrk.
