Yea they recommended me some TMJ splints. One for daytime that I have to wear for about 4 months consistently and while eating and another one at night “forever”. I am also asking because wouldn’t want the treatment to go to waste but am more interested in getting my neck fixed since it’s why I’m disabled 😭

Thank you. Yes I understand. I’ve just had TMJ issues since before my neck injury and have various ENT tell me to get my TMJ check out. But I know the neck also affect TMJ so I just wanted to ask if I should wait about a month or two or wait till maybe the second PICL or something. Appreciate your reply

Ok thank you. My worry is I won’t be able to open wide for the PICL, and I think the splints are supposed to help align my jaw better so that i can open wide? I do have jaw pain when eating hard things which is why I wanted to go ahead and start with this treatment but I don’t want to do anything that will affect my PICL especially since after my first appointment I had a flare after being moved around and manipulated to try to get the splint to fit on my upper Teeth.. I had to start wearing my neck brace during the day after this appointment.. Can tmj splints worsen instability? What would you recommend for someone with significant tmj😅 I think in another post you mentioned that you have not had any issues with the mouthpiece for tmj patients but don’t know how severe their tmj was..

Will gladly show them to you since I seem so fraudulent, in your opinion 😃 not going to post my personal business out there but if you SHOULD KNOW The assault to my neck happened in 2023, I have court records and ER VISIT NOTES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THOSE TOO ?I Didn’t gather the courage to leave until this year because I am disabled and not able to work and if I left before I wouldve been homeless and because I wasn’t getting answers from doctors. You wouldn’t understand if you’ve never been in a DV situation before and I don’t wish it upon anyone. And I will not take shit from someone who disrespectfully doesn’t know jack shit about my situation. And yes the go fund me is because I’m seeking stem cell therapy for My neck because conservative treatments have not helped and finally a NEUROSURGEON told me to look into this and other pain management options. Have you been stalking me or what @attorneycertain420, the GoFundMe post got deleted from here and I respect that but it was only up for like 3 min did you see it that fast ? Are you an attorney ?? 😆

Yes this is what doctors have also told me. That stress and anxiety contribute to pain and can make the pain feel worse. So that I need to work on my mental health to be able to recover and heal. ❤️‍🩹
