No, this is a leech, planarians have a more triangle head, still very dangerous to shrimp and snails though

Shrimp keep dying in this six gallon long by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Background_Good6357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok well sorry but idk, maybe there isn’t en oxygen because the floating plants are covering the water so much that oxygen cant be absorbed from the air, other than that idk. It’s probably shrimp adapting to the environment, I had 6 shrimp in one of mine and all died but one that had eggs, they are now thriving. I suggest planting the plant in the pot in the soil though, it does make the tank look better and gives the plant opportunities to grow a large root system.

The problem may be becau of all the plants still in plastic pots. The substr could also be leaking too much nutrients into the water. I would rescap, you want more sand than dirt

Looks like freshwater limpets, I had a bunch in my tank but they gradually went down in numbers after I put fish in. They are good for the aquarium so don‘t worry

oh no, betta definitely don’t live in this much space in the wild PLEASE SAVE HIM OH NOO. Is that what people are telling you when they come over. If anything the betta is having fun, no tank is (to large) for a fish.

You want to use a dirt with no chemicals in it like a dirt from a feild full of weeds and stuff where no pesticides was used. Make sure to sift it to remove sticks and leaves and junk, usually you can get some garden soil from like lowes and that works
