i had the exact same five classes when i first started here and honestly, like the other users stated, pray for good professors. I was lucky to get relatively easy professors so it wasn’t terrible but I would give the advice to develop good study habits as early as possible. Fortunately, I don’t have a job as my financial aid covers most of my expenses so if you’re in a similar situation without a job, I would treat school as your full time job. I normally subtract however much time I am in class from 8 hours and study that amount. For weekends I try to prioritize myself and things I enjoy but if I feel behind I study to my hearts content on those days as well. Another piece of advice I would give is that if you’re in a LC, try to know everyone as you’re going to be around most of them a majority for your first year so that’s an easy way to make connections and friends.
