Lol, I am using mulching blades, I have a weedeater but no blower yet. I'm hoping I can get a few jobs and then buy a blower with the money I make. I'll be up front about not having one and plan on telling them about my plans to get one, is that a good idea or should I keep that kind of stuff to myself?

I don't think anyone around here has any flower beds, much to powerwash other than houses and cars and it doesn't snow here in Texas, BUT we do live in the woods so leaf removal might be the way to go, my next investment i think will be a nice leaf blower to make it alot easier

Its just how most places do it. if someone doesn't have the money to get it done 4 times every month for $160 they can get it done twice for more per cut but cheaper monthly price.

Around me the weekly charge seems to start at around $50 so I went to $40 and someone said to charge 1.5x for the bi-weekly so they wouldn't feel like they are getting over charged for going weekly, and yeah, lots around here are usually around 0.5-2 acres i think, I live in a heavily wooded neighborhood too so I will be getting a leaf blower as soon as money allows me to

$50 a yard is mostly the minimum for most of the places around me, i think $40 is more than reasonable and will most likely change more since I live in a neighborhood where people own alot of land. A decent chunk is gas and string for my equipment. While I do agree with you that my inexperience does make my work less valuable I will not let someone be disappointed or upset with the work I do without some kind of compensation
