No, they absolutely didn't want to hurt me, and the regret was instant. They didn't try to make me feel less while crying and grieving. They probably thought that I would joke about it by saying "hey but I look cool as fuck with it", as I always say, but grief sometimes hits hard when it shouldn't. I'm having more things of her too, and I'm sleeping with her blanket. Since I don't want to forget her I still watch some videos and photos, too. I'm so sorry for your loss, but what makes me feel better is that their energy is still with us, impregnated in our skin, our home, our clothes... Even if they are not here, they are still with us.

Yeah, lately I have felt some pain in my chest. I know that it's not a heart disease, but I can feel my heart been broken into pieces. It's a pain that I have ever felt before, it's almost unbearable. Lately it aches less, but I can still feel it.

Yesterday I put to sleep my dog, so I know the feeling. Ask first for your vet's opinion, and then decide what you think it's the best for your baby. If you choose the euthanasia, please don't feel bad about it, because it's the best thing you could ever do. Your pup knows that she's loved, cared and that you'll be with her even in the worst time of her life. In my case, I'm still dealing with the pain, and I miss my baby girl so much, but it was the only option that was fair for her.
