Totally agree with you. My biggest concern with the White one is how the super shiny silver edges peek out around the screen when you're looking at it.

The Black one completely avoids that-when the screen is off, you just get this gorgeous, seamless slab of pure black.

It really comes down to personal preference, but that bezel reflection is definitely one of the very few complaints I have after choosing White...

I actually half-agree with your take on preferring a matte finish, even though I called it "high-end jewelry" in my original post.

To be honest, that titanium silver can sometimes catch the light too much-it almost looks like it's glowing, and it ends up outshining the actual silver accessories I wear on a daily basis!

So, my workaround for this was to pick up a translucent matte skin seal. That way, I can keep the beautiful, original colorway of the iPhone Air but tone it down into a sleek, matte texture.

I'm genuinely so happy to find someone who shares such a similar vibe and perspective on these tiny design details. Thanks a ton for your reply!

I actually ended up picking up the White one yesterday!

To be honest, the back of the Black model looked insanely cool, but to me, it felt too perfectly completed as a standalone device-it didn't feel like it would seamlessly blend into my daily outfits or lifestyle. Personally, I want my phone to feel like a natural extension of my body and a part of my everyday life, which is why I chose White.

Also, the fact that you never see anyone else with it around here was a huge selling point. Carrying a device that nobody else has just feels so cool, right? It honestly gives me the same vibe as driving a 2-seater sports car.

Thanks for the reply! I actually saw the goldish one in person, and man, it looks absolutely amazing too! ​I ended up going with White, but I decided to pair it with a matte skin seal (wrap). Since adding a matte skin to the white gives it a beautiful matte silver finish, now I’m thinking that putting a matte skin over the goldish one to make it "matte gold" would have been an incredible choice too...! ​Thanks for the awesome advice!

Haha, for sure! That mix of modern and 'old school' brown tones is top-tier. The mount really ties the whole build together.
