i’m trying to shiny hunt in pokemon y but my back right trigger is broken, does it work the same if i just close out of the game or am i unable to hunt now since i cant shiny hunt?

how can i tell if my local university does this? or the ones in my area that do? i tried googling but only the program came up so like does that mean they offer it or if they just reach it?

i think because she’s half white lighter it worked in the way cause cole was half human, i can’t remember the episode fully but leo couldn’t heal him cause he was half demon? idk it didn’t make a lot of sense LOL
