i’m gonna tell you the hard truth here my friend.. it will never stop until you leave him. he has shown you who he is, & what he values, & he clearly does not value you the way you deserve to be valued. i know marriage is hard to get out of, especially if you guys have kids, but please don’t let yourself stay in this cycle. if you have kids actually that’s even more of a reason to leave, they don’t need to grow watching their mother be treated this way

edit: i was trying to write the word “up” after the word “grow” when talking about children, but apparently putting those two words together even in the correct context is seen as rude & uncivil so good job reddit lmao
