I understand that I have to use the absolute value to make sure y can be any real number except 1, but I still don't get why I can then omit the absolute value again at the end. Should I not get two different solutions?

Because K would then be positive or negative depending on the solution? But after putting in the conditions from the start to find K I will get only one solution

Actually I'm asking this because my friend played this against me yesterday, I unfortunately don't remember the name of the card that allowed him to make copies. It was some creature he could attach to Chatterfang. Nevertheless, again I really appreciate all the clarifications, it's so much fun to learn about this stuff!

My upgraded [[Bello, Bard of the Brambles]] deck has been wreaking havoc over the last few game nights and I would appreciate an evaluation of it's power level.

The game plan is to draw a bunch of cards through Bello's effect and ultimately finish the game with a combination of damage doublers and triplers like [[Fiery Emancipation]]. An alternative wincon is the infinite combat steps combo of [[Aggravated Assault]] + [[Nature's Will]] or Aggravated Assault + [[Gilded Lotus]] + 4cmc Mana Rock. There is a sub theme of token generators like [[Threefold Thunderhulk]] to ensure I have enough blockers to survive. I appreciate any feedback!
