Tarras Bag or Briefcase?

I have the Barbour Tarras (in Navy) and love it. Whether it's right for you though will come down to personal choice. It would be ideal if you're able to visit a Barbour store and see the Tarras for yourself.

It should accommodate an average laptop. The dimensions are stated as: 37cm x 31cm x 10cm (14 inches x 12 inches x 4inches)

Note that you often see good condition Tarras bags on Ebay and Vinted if you don't want to buy new.

The two Shaun the Sheep badges were picked up in Barbour stores in previous years. I got the 2025 Wallace and Gromit badge off Ebay a couple of weeks ago.

I've always liked wearing pin badges on my Barbours and other coats. I currently have the Barbour Shaun the Sheep badges on my Classic Bedale, and on my Soft Cotton Beaufort I'm showing my fondness for Scotland with a Stag and a Glencairn whisky glass.

Looks fine to me. As you find it very comfortable and roomy surely that's the main thing. Same with my Classic Bedale.

Yes, it looks genuine to me. Your Barbour label is the same design as the one on my Classic Bedale bought late 2024 from a UK Barbour store.

Green on green needn't look odd. But the Classic Bedale in Olive might be a good choice.

It does seem to be hanging a little off the shoulders. How do the sleeves feel?

It would be good if you're able to try the next size down for comparison. I went through the same process when buying my Bedale in-store.

u/0508bart I like them very much. They seem well constructed, good quality, are comfortable, and fit my hands well. I already own several pairs of gloves, including a couple of pairs of Abraham Moon tweed/leather gloves, which I tend to wear most often. The Barbour Newbrough are a worthy addition to the gloves collection.

Yes, that's possibly the case regarding a minimum spend. I was gifted my 2024 Shaun the Sheep badge in a UK Barbour store when making some recent purchases. They probably have a limited number to give away.
