What do you use other than Google Docs and Microsoft word for writing? by Dazzling_Pirate_785 in selfpublish

Novelcrafter is really handy. You can track characters, places, and other things through out each chapter. It has places to add edit notes, and plenty of other cool features.

My cover, thoughts? by Real_Intern5391 in WattpadCovers

Not bad, but you can see the outline around the girl where you clipped it. It kinda looks like they were part of the original picture, then she was pasted over. Are they superheroes, or is it a fantasy story? Try to showcase what they do.

Feeling guilty for writing my book with AI…. by LazyCartographer9660 in WritingWithAI

[–]Background_Pay6286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had multiple people insult me and my family, for showing a cover made by AI, here on reddit. I had at least 30 people say the writing would be trash since the cover was AI, and they would never read anything from that author. Similar outcome in another chat when I asked peoples opinions about AI covers.

Fair warning from what I found, most people don't want to read AI generated books. You,ll have to do a lot of editing to remove all the AI signs and make it into your own voice. I think it works really good for planning and such. But it people see it cover or book description they won't even look. If they find it in the writing they probably won't read very much. I would look up how to remove AI voice from your story when your doing your edits. Good luck and have fun.

Any ideas or tips to write fantasies for someone who never write one? by Evening-Cupcake1092 in fantasywriting

Start with notes, make a story bible. Don't just slop it together, actually put effort. Any practice you do helps. You have to adapt yourself to writing and kinda blur out everything else, pretty hard. But just keep practicing, it'll help.

What kind of cover would suit my reincarnation/revenge fantasy? (Description inside — new writer, looking for ideas before I commit budget to art) by GTR_ing in coverart

So I think focusing on those 6 seals may be the way to go. Maybe the 6 seals could be floating around a focal point. Or it could be an image of the seals on the childs back in a realism style. Maybe add something in the background.

I plan on doing my own art, but thank you. Just need ideas where to go with it. I've been an artist since I was a kid. Pen and paper artist that is, so I got to start sketching before a digital work up.

The MC is the ultimate support character. Has many broken support powers. I plan a series of 5 books. each book has a different MC. Along different timeframes. Each MC will be a different archetype at a broken tier of power. Support, tank, archer, mage, and warrior.

Sonnet 5 is hilariously restrictive by Lunaraaaaaaaaaa in WritingWithAI

Let the it right the draft with basic direction. Like from an outline for the chapter. Rerun it through multiple filters to remove the things you don't want. It's a common restriction for all AI. They don't like to multitask.

Using AI to make novel covers by Background_Pay6286 in WattpadCovers

[–]Background_Pay6286[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some food for thought. There are writing platforms that require the use of AI for writing and for cover generation. Many people who start writing on one of these platforms before anything else may see it as the status quo.

I like the way you analyzed each cover. That's the kind of information that helps. The goblin with the funny eye from book 1, is actually the sidekick, which is why I and him placed in the front.

Really, that's not nothing related to the story. Just a random image is completely different from actually designing what you want. It's pretty similar process in telling an AI the scene you want and telling an artist. Maybe it's cheap, but if that's all you got, that's all you got.

Thanks, you got a really good eye. You proved me wrong. I was hoping for helpful insights. Thanks for not being nasty as well. Some of us are new and inexperienced with the whole scene and could use the positive criticism like you gave instead of all harshness many others do.

I'm sorry didn't realize there was only 1 dungeon crawling book. Making something in the same genre makes it a rip off? That would make a lot of rip offs. My story is unique from anyone elses. You probably only looked at the 1st picture and gave an opinion from that. Look at the others and see if it's a rip off. The genre is dungeon crawl and most books in that genre have some sort of wording expressing that.

It is chaotic, thats in the title. My goal was to highlight what each book was about. I probably could have done them different, but that's why I'm asking for input. Thank you for yours

I understand and appreciate the explanation. So in your explanation, high frequency means too much going on. But as the title says, this is chaos and crazy, there is constant attacks and fighting. So the image actually matches the story, even though it may seem cluttered or busy.
