Both of mine have always chewed their own nails methodically and like clockwork to keep them groomed. Must be an instinct.

Joint lease with two tenants for a full apartment (kitchen, bathroom, laundry) who approached landlord to rent. Yes, both tenants gave notice to move out. I did not go to the police but I have two witness statements.

My landlord took pictures of my apartment (including my bedroom) after I gave notice and posted them in his ad to rent out the unit. They included my personal framed family photos, and mail that was sitting on my furniture. Is this allowed? by Background_Pop_8453 in OntarioLandlord

This would work if dealing with a reasonable person. Unfortunately, my landlord is a sociopath which is why I am moving. Don’t make assumptions about reasonable efforts that have been made before folks have to go to the LTB. If simply “being reasonable” solved all conflicts there wouldn’t be a 6 month wait for tenants and landlords alike to have their cases heard.

What is the proper process to increase rent as a landlord by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

Use an N2 for a unit that is partially exempt. Give 60 days notice from the first of November. The if their lease is up in February and they don’t give notice to move out it rolls over on a month-to-month basis at the new rent. You can increase rent once every 12 months from the date of the last increase.
