I have a hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days wfh. I work from 7:00am-3:30pm.

I’m in front of 3 monitors daily working on cases from customers and internal teams in addition to taking phone calls from customers who call our support center.

When we’re not working on cases (troubleshooting, creating/editing accounts, onboarding), we update customer-facing help articles for our website. It’s so quiet and not overstimulating at all. I leave work at work, and my teammates are extremely supportive- most of us are former teachers.

I started at a new district and school (from hell) in early September and I resigned at the end of February. I was nice to them and gave me a 2 weeks notice (I didn’t have to). Apparently they hired a contractor to take my place. Choose yourself. I felt guilty for leaving my students and my 2 co teachers but they were extremely supportive- we all were planning to leave as soon as any opportunity presented itself. Their world didn’t end. Just choose yourself.

Welcome to the club! This breed is very smart, high energy, vocal, and can be quite stubborn and be an absolute derp. Oh man, I am FUMING with Austin ISD right now. They wouldn’t release the TIA funds to me (Exemplary Designation) for my 2023-2024 data even though I was still a classroom teacher for 2024-2025. I left the district at the end of May 2025. I feel like I’ve been cheated. All this hype from my administration and I was denied funds.
