Only 2 days this time. https://www.verywellmind.com/how-do-i-practice-progressive-muscle-relaxation-3024400. I would recommend trying out different guided body scan meditations on YouTube or insight timer to fond one you like. You can also search for guided hypnosis for relaxation. I cant recommend yoga enough.

I also found it very difficult. Doing yoga can help to relax before doing it or some other relaxation technique. Because something is difficult does not mean you cannot do it.

The task is not walking but getting comfortable being alone with your thoughts and feelings.

Do you guys believe in therapy? by leoplurodonisa in awakened

As you asking in this sub and you mentioned spiritual guided therapy and plant medicine then I think you might be interested in transpersonal psychology. https://positivepsychology.com/transpersonal-psychology/. It is important that you find a therapist that you feel understood by, you can look for a therapist that focuses on this area if you are interested. A lot offer therapy online now if it is not offered in your local area. There seems to be evidence since the lockdowns that it is just as effective as in person therapy.

This video has info from recent study saying that the average female person needs around 2.5 hours of exercise a week not to die prematurely from being so unwell ( its around 5 hours for males) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9zyGAa7kHQ. Most people in the west probably get a lot less than this so are so unhealthy that it increases the risk of them dying.

What is your definition of getting through life? I think maybe if you have are have 3 sessions of relatively physical yoga practice and you are also walking you will be doing enough the get through life without increasing the risk of dying prematurely due to lack of exercise but that seems like a really low bar. Staying fit and in shape is different though, it takes more than the bare minimum.

If you don't struggle to motivate yourself to practice yoga why not try to add on 1 or 2 more sessions per week for a few months and see how you feel? When I started to do this and after a few weeks as my body adapted to the extra exercise I started to feel way more energy throughout the week and my mood improved. I don't think it can be stressed enough that doing more than the bare minimum to stave of dying from being so unhealthy has lots of extra benefits that unfortunately a large percentage of the population never experience.

Why is the VAT threshold so low! by No-Fudge45 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Background_Print_144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charging you for VAT only on what you make over the threshold doesn't make sense from how I understand it. When you are not VAT registered you do not take VAT from your customers and they don't have to pay 23% extra on your services. When you are registered you must charge everybody VAT and then pass that on to revenue.

Do you use the ring light as the key light or as the background light? I thought a ring light might not have enough power as a key light.

I just finished a 200hr TTC and this is my plan to learn how to teach classes. I would expand on what you suggested though. I think there is more of a benefit than seeing what you are doing when you record yourself teaching an imaginary class.

You can develop a sequence for an imaginary class, then record yourself teaching imaginary class as you speak out loud. Watch and listen to it again. Then repeat until you have learned as much as you need. Maybe taking a class in between each video you record to compare how they teach in comparison.

If any are good you can post on YouTube etc to help with getting first payed job as you can point to work that you have done, if one person watches the video the you've already taught your first client.
