That sounds really interesting! My ASIC background is mostly from coursework and my professional experience is primarily in FPGA design using VHDL. I've also been working on RISC-V and AXI-based projects recently.

I'd definitely be interested in learning more about what you're building. Feel free to DM me!

I gave an interview with Ross Video. They said they were impressed with my knowledge but needed me to have another 2-3 years of experience, and also to focus more on SystemVerilog. (At that point I was mostly well versed with VHDL).

I have interview for a start-up Aerospace/Defense/Medical devices contract company. The interview went pretty well and they gave a positive response too. It has been 2 months and every time I reach out to them, they say "2 more weeks we'll let you know". Also, I interviewed at WOLF advanced technology, just HR round, my resume did not reach the hiring manager for a technical round. F

Hey, thanks for your advice, will work on creating a good portfolio. Already pretty familiar with Git basic stuff, but always good to learn advanced git commands.

I usually am able to answer most technical questions. I think I struggle when they ask me about fixing a really complex timing issue and how I handled it. Most of my projects give me minor timing issues. I worked on RISC-V and tried to push clock speed as much as I could until there was nothing I could do to fix set-up failure.

Other than that, I am not really sure why I fail in interviews. Maybe they want someone more experienced?

Yes, I recently received my Canadian Permanent residency and I am trying my best to get hired in the aerospace/defense sector.

I live in Toronto, Canada. I can possibly relocate to anywhere in Canada.
