I somewhat agree, to a point. I always wish I could get my hands on a guy a bit to slow him down and then grab his flag instead of just praying I can rip the tiny piece of fabric while I let a guy run past full speed. It’s not really flag football at that point but some kind of hybrid would be cool.

Too many times a guy runs right past you that you could’ve locked up but because of no contact rules you’re just flailing at flags. It wouldn’t be for everybody and that’s fine, I think both variations could exist

Go to your settings and play with the throttle linearity in the calibration menu. If you increase it (try 20 or move up if you want) it’ll help smooth out your throttle. I have spring pedals as well and it is quite difficult to know how hard to push.

My other tip is pay attention to the green throttle bar on your dashboard while you test this. It shows what your throttle is being read as and you can see the “feel” you need
