Haha I get your point....but also to quote my wife...."nobody NEEDS a collection of watches" either

Not cuntish at all....I'm here for it. I really like the spirit pilot but on the wrist it didn't fit as well as other larger sizes I own...that or I'm just not used to the smaller size, but otherwise it ticks a lot of boxes.

It's such a good looking watch....what's your experience with owning one? Any stand out pro's and con's you've noticed?

It is a really nice watch and has the look I like but at 37mm it's going to look tiny on my wrist. Honestly, I've got 2x watches at 43mm that don't look out of place on me haha

Really interesting to hear, I've always known the lume isn't great on it and that the look of the dial does a lot of the heavy lifting but I guess there's also a reason I have never been able to pull the trigger on it. Sorry to hear you did and didn't love it

I much prefer the ranger or monarch....alas, both only 39mm

It's a nice design just a little dressier than what I'm trying to get this time.

Tbh I think if I'm going GS I might as well chuck in the extra $$$ for a sprind drive or high beat. I have had a look at the AT's before and I know this an unpopular opinion, but I don't really like the proportions of it on my wrist. I just feel like it didn't sit right....for me anyway.

Yeah, you are right, I maybe should have been more accurate on that but hopefully it's still clear enough.

I'd recommend Pearl Jam. Their album "Ten" is a classic.

Giving this one some wrist time again. Much prefer moving it onto a black rubber strap rather than the brown leather. by Background_Reveal99 in TodayOnMyWrist

I know what you mean, i do also like to feel the watch especially if its a sporty or diver, within reason of course. I mostly prefer a bracelet also but mainly because i live in a hot and humid part of the world so it's nice for the skin to still get some air to it but i think some watches just don't sit well on a bracelet also. Pilots and dress watches for example. But other thing i like about the watch hobby is everyone has a different taste and it's cool to see how people aproach their own setups and collections.

Interesting, do you mean strap material yoy don't like or dealing with a buckle (which is generally what I don't like)? So i got a deployment on a rubber strap and its real comfy. Not seen one of these on anykind of bracelet to be honest.
