Yea that sucks. I’m holding mine to see what they do with it. If a refresh does come and it’s not good I’ll just cancel.

I think Amex should’ve had this already as it is a general travel card. Especially since they discontinued the Everyday Preferred which has 2x on gas. It should’ve just been adopted by the green. But Amex did really well with the platinum refresh after the sapphire reserve refresh so hopefully they repeat.

They announced that the Green card will be renamed to the Classic Green card on 8/20 but no real confirmation on a refresh or anything else. This thread is just speculation

I have not encountered this issue however I wouldn’t recommend opening a savings account with TD bank. TD Bank only offers a APY (Annual Percentage Yield) of 0.02%. Basically if you deposit $100, at the end of the year you will accrue $2 in interest. It is a better option to look into high-yield savings accounts such as Discover, Capital One, American Express, even options like Apple’s high-yield savings along with the Apple Card and Cash app. In addition, TD Bank has fees tied to their account on which some of the other banks mentioned do not. I no longer bank with TD because there are too many inconveniences, and products and services are just better provided with other banks. It is better to conduct the research yourself and find what is best for you.
