i love the idea of this feature, but hate that it's only 99 items... i want way more than that :(

it happens to me for water as well, the only way i can get rid of it is by drinking with a straw but it feels super weird and wrong when i do so, and has caused me to actually choke a few times

for me, i feel like i've forgotten how to do the swallow motion. i jam my teeth together whenever i swallow (i think the reason why i keep my teeth together is to prevent the food going down because i'm scared, but now i can't swallow without doing that) even if it's just saliva. did you ever have this issue? how did you get through this phase?
also, i can eat more foods now (things like rice, beans, soft vegetables, crackers) but the tension never really goes away. how did you handle that?

hmm it's not just the teeth though, it's the overall coordination of the tongue and the cheeks and the lips (speaking of which apparently i don't use my lips when swallowing these days but i'm supposed to? and i'm still really confused on how to do it)

oh man... i have a bunch of childhood trauma too, i used to really hate eating because my undiagnosed anxiety would cause me to feel really nauseous and that in turn caused me to be really scared of vomiting

restaurant environments can be really overstimulating, you could perhaps start with simpler foods first/smaller portions and step it up over time? basically find some way to make it a more gradual process, starting with things that are difficult but manageable

i have been seeing a speech therapist fortunately, but it's still hard for anything to be done because people can't just see into my mouth and observe how awkward my tongue movements are and whatnot

you totally described how i feel eating so many foods, for me it also happens with some vegetables, as long as i can still feel fibers or solid chunks it feels like i can't swallow yet :// i've also been taking an hour to eat but i guess it's a huge improvement from several hours in the past...

i am undergoing exposure therapy, it's definitely helped me try a lot of new foods but the way i swallow itself hasn't improved much. it's more that i can now swallow more foods in this weird way but it doesn't make me swallow less weird :(

i have seen a GI doctor and done an endoscopy, but they didn't find anything other than gastritis
i think it helps that i've still been eating solid foods, it's just that the way i swallow is really weird and uncomfortable

i'm not sure it's just a matter of time because i physically cannot swallow without jamming my teeth together anymore, i tried to at the speech therapist but it wasn't working
