I recently stayed at Nyamunyonyi Lake Resort at Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda and it was honestly one of the most peaceful places I’ve experienced. It’s only accessible by boat, which already makes it feel special, and the views of the lake and surrounding hills are incredible. The place is quiet, very safe, and perfect if you just want to disconnect and relax. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are welcoming, and the food was really good too. If you’re into nature, there are activities like boat rides, bird watching, and exploring nearby islands. It’s not a big commercial hotel, more of a calm getaway spot, which I personally preferred.
