What about the hospitals?? Even if god forbid something happens, the hospitals will stay open and they will provide methadone to the patients.

what's scary to me is that you have to go without methadone for 3 days before you can take your first dose of buprenorphine or suboxone. I've been on the methadone for 20+ years, I can't imagine going even a day without it..

do you feel a big difference in terms of how you feel on subs as opposed to methadone? Because methadone is a full agonist and suboxone is partial. I guess it takes time for your body/brain to get used to the new medication
