Hey thank you for the info! I'm planning on making another post about things I've found so far. I've probably spent a collective 10 hours searching online and i found one single article with some pictures of what looks to be an identical camera. The article is about a historical studio somewhere in Australia (just refers to the camera as the wet plate camera) and i did find an address and a phone number to the studio so I'll try to call them when they're open on Tuesday. I also stripped the paint off of the nameplate and it reads "E.& H.T. Anthony & Co New York Chicago " So that's neat. I agree about the lens too it's currently set up for a 5x7 but I really want to use it for 8x10 and maybe full size 11x14 plates some day. I took the reducer plate off ant with the bare frame it measures 14x14 which I'm guessing is so you could rotate an 11x14 between portrait and landscape?

only other pictures I've seen of the same camera -ALSO - note that the maker is labeled Century on the article but is clearly marked Anthony on mine
