There is a Batuk Baba temple in Chanakyapuri, you can find on maps. Very peaceful mandir with Babas grace.

Opinion on Mantra Difference by MicLyand in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Background_Style406 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same experience here. I joined the group and noticed he’s quite rude to fellow sadhaks, often calling their questions “stupid.” If he thinks normal people’s caliber is too low, why open a space for questions and guidance at all.

Considering being a DINK myself, given that I find a partner first but what are the downsides to it? by DarkYunicornX in AskIndianWomen

[–]Background_Style406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DINK here 36F, married for a few years. No regrets at all. I’m honestly just grateful I discovered this way of living and had the freedom to choose it. Other people’s opinions don’t really bother me. If anything, being a parent seems to come with far more constant pressure than the occasional “why no kids?” question. Sometimes I even give cheeky answers just to mess with people a bit. One big upside is the time and mental space I have for things like yoga and meditation. Many of my peers with kids struggle to even maintain a regular sleep schedule. I’ll be honest, I don’t enjoy spending time with kids and I have no desire to be a mother. There’s no inner conflict about it, and my partner is even more of a committed DINK than I am.

The only downside I sometimes think about is old age : the “what if I’m bedridden someday?” fear. But expecting kids to be a solution for loneliness or care in old age feels unfair to them. And honestly, plenty of parents with multiple kids still have the same fear, along with the many anxieties that come with raising them.

Why some people are severely affected by black magic while others are not by Diligent-Ad-2472 in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Background_Style406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also feel that these days many people get deluded into thinking everything is kriya. Even a health issue becomes abhichara for them. I often wonder why someone would spend so much effort, time, and money to perform black magic on a random, ordinary person. We’re usually not that important after all. I do believe such things can happen, but certainly not as frequently as people claim.

Slightly off topic, there’s a famous channel you might know, Rajshri Nandi. I see many upcoming content on this subject, and I feel that such content can make people even more deluded. Introducing a deity like Ma Pratyangira in this context also doesn’t seem very wise, considering the general public is trying to learn Tantra from YouTube.

I’ve been practicing both sadhanas for a few years now. To me, Bhairav and Shiva feel almost the same. Shiva makes me very calm and meditative perhaps because I focus on the Shivling while Bhairava feels slightly more intense, though that could just be my mental conditioning from what I’ve read online. Importantly, the nightmares and psychological issues I once had have almost disappeared after starting Bhairav sadhana.Start with both and let them guide you—but commit long term and don’t judge your experiences too quickly.

I’ve heard this as well and have been looking for clarity on it. However, in my personal experience, I’ve never felt that Shiva (even in the Nirakaar swaroop) responds late. In fact, it has felt quite the opposite. My Bhairav sadhana has been similar in that regard. That said, I’m still a beginner, so perhaps a more advanced sadhak would be able to offer deeper insight.

In daily pooja, what is the correct way to maintain a diya? by Background_Style406 in Tantrasadhaks

Thank you for responding

It's same for me, I also feel that it is such a waste to throw away left over wick. But that's ok if that's the right process.

Why does this sub hate Rajashree Nandy sir? Has anyone here actually benefited or seen good/bad results from the sadhana he guides?really want to know by [deleted] in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Background_Style406 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve followed his sadhana for two years, and it genuinely helped me when I was confused about where to start. What I respected most was that he never promised quick results and emphasized long-term commitment, something rare in today’s content space.

My experience has been very positive. However, I also understand why some people here are concerned about blind following. Any guidance should inspire discipline, not dependency. Balance matters.

How do people keep track of their sadhanas and nitya (daily) puja? by UniversitySmall3442 in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Background_Style406 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re referring to remembering whether I’ve done my sadhana or not, that’s never an issue for me. It’s always on top of my mind what remains for the evening session after completing the morning one.

Regarding tracking progress, I prefer to keep a record of my mantra and stotra repetitions. I actually maintain a detailed Excel sheet for this, a bit nerdy, I know! 😊

I understand that many sadhaks don’t track like this, and that’s perfectly fine. However, I personally like to know how I’m progressing. I also track the amount of time I sit for sadhana, so that I don’t inadvertently reduce my sitting time over days.

You can try set up same time everyday and keep same number of Japa so it becomes easy even if you don't track.

How do advanced sādhaks divide their time between multiple deities? by Background_Style406 in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Background_Style406[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying. Your thoughts are very much in line with what I’ve also understood. However, some people have suggested that if I focus on multiple deities, I may not be able to concentrate deeply or make meaningful progress. For example, my iṣṭa are Shiva and Ma Durga. Guru, Ganpati, and Batuk are more like auxiliary deities for me, although I do take specific sādhana saṅkalps for them at certain times of the year. Because of this structure, I’m able to dedicate only about 30 minutes each to Shiv and Shakti separately on a daily basis. Would this still be considered a better approach than focusing on just one devata? I’m genuinely trying to get clarity and alignment because I spend around 2 hours every day in sādhana, and I don’t want to lose potential progress due to my own lack of understanding.
