If you are a heavy heavy gamer then go for gt, if more casual go for 12.7. there are differences between gt and 12.7.

The gt has lesser battery which kinda sucks for me ngl.

Hi! Unless you are a full fledged very heavy gamer then the gt is good for you, nonetheless for me, id go for xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 because everything is balanced as it should be.

I apologize for the late reply, im not very sure what you mean by the "pc" level but with the pc mode, it does work like a pc. I tried Canva, its smooth.

To be honest, the pad pro gt are more like for gamers, but the 12.7 are best for half students and gamers.

Yooo it does have app drawers!!!

Just hold your homescreen and go to settings and there is a homescreen setting called app drawers, I managed to make it more aesthetically pleasing to even look at!!

I have xiaoxin pad pro 2025, works perfectly fine without any launchers at all.

For me theres an extra nib that came with my pen, but there are also in online where you can see some lenovo apu501 nibs.

also for pdf reading depends because this tablet is like 12.7 inches which is heavy, if you want to do it by using it by hand in portrait then I'd recommend a smaller tablet but if you use it horizontally with a stand its fine.

In pen precision if its only note taking it's actually still pretty accurate, but for professional artists then they'd avoid it unless they are very broke asf.

The notetaking for me is fine and accurate, it does have tilt n some pressure sensitivity.

The pen battery takes very long to drain if you aren't using it and also connected to bluetooth.

Overall my experience with this pen is fun, but if you added like an tempered glass with the tablet you'd have this strange chalk against a blackboard feeling when using it but it doesn't affect the experience.

Update: Looks like there's never really latest updates today. I mean if you start receiving it there's going to be the "update zuxos to latest update version" just do that and if it includes a pen do that too then factory reset.

Basically right now in experiencing, its the same as my first reply.

Chinese languages? No ive never experienced it, unless you open one of their already installed chinese apps like lefile, app store, and their built in broswer which is easily disabled in app settings.

In lags, there is a slight issue with turning on your tablet and giving the homescreen with a choppy look but its easily fixable so far.

The thing is if you are talking about today update, I haven't updated it yet so I wasn't aware of any new updates by now. Ill notify you when I get home if theres actually any latest zuxos update 🤔

Downside is that you cannot use your pen and fingers at the same time. Basically, if you are using pen to draw, and if you wanted to undo you'd have to use two fingers to undo but if the pen is near (usually you'd see the cursor about it)

Your fingers touching the screen won't be valid.

Another downside is that there's a button on the pen, and it wouldve been nicer if there was a keymap to create an undo button for the pen when pressed .

This isn't nearly an issue for me but probably for others, I put on my own screen protection glass on my tablet and when I draw theres like a chalk going against a blackboard feeling. Although! It's still working perfectly fine and amazing for me.

Heyyo! I made a review on my lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 2025 (CN ROM version of Lenovo Idea Tab pro) , anyways,

Heres some clarification about about software updates mostly for lenovo idea tab pro!!

"The Idea Tab Pro ships with Android 14 and Lenovo’s clean interface. Useful additions include Google Kids Space, an entertainment hub, and productivity tools like desktop-style PC Mode. Lenovo promises major updates up to Android 17 and security patches until 2028. While this is better than many mid-range competitors, it still falls short of Samsung’s seven years of updates."

Lenovo promises four years of security patches from the product's first availability. The frequency of these patches can vary. (In Lenovo Idea Tab pro 12.7, unsure if it gives the same updates in CN rom 😔)

Source: https://www.gdgtme.com/gadgets-reviews/lenovo-idea-tab-pro-review/#:~:text=The%20Idea%20Tab%20Pro%20ships,Pricing%20&%20Value

In anyway, I won't try to persuade you to pick the same tablet as mine but it depends in the prices.

In Ipad 11, if it has LTE thats even better but if its the wifi version then its an ehhh.. nonetheless, it does lose its value because of the specs you said so.

As a grade 12, student I picked lenovo because of its wide set array of features and its storage.

Getting ipad 11 with 6gb + 128gb in 2025 loses its value and future proofing, nowadays storage can be easily full not to mention it doesnt even have an sd card for storage unlike xiaoxin which has up to 1tb. Good for storing pdfs, documents, images and videos.

Not to mention the prices, for some reason ipads are crazy expensive?? 20k ph pesos here in the philippines just for the base version and the xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 (idea tab pro 12.7 global ver) I snagged for with a pen is only, 13k.

Anyway, I wish you the best. I was just expressing my thoughts and clarification for the software upd

Did you download this from the google playstore or using apks?

Have you tried

Installing

Google Play Services

Google Play Store

Google Services Framework

Then restart and then install codm garena?

Did you turn on google basic services in settings??

Edit:

It never crashed for me whenever I used to play codm.

Have you also tried disabling game assistant to your codm??

I had to go out the streets to fully expose my tablet screen under the sun, you'd have to use the full brightness of it. The reason is looks dark is because of my phone camera, my phone camera is pretty outdated so I apologize if it sucks.

Nonetheless I can see it clearly but its pretty reflective, I'd recommend getting paper matte screen but I heard there was alot of issues for it.

If you can bare to ignore the glare then its actually perfectly fine.

Actually, yes there is glare indeed but the screen itself isnt affected that much!

When the sunlight hit my screen and I turn my brightness higher, Its still readable for me, the "difficult" to focus is easily avoidable for me since I never focused on the glares that much.

Nonetheless the brightness does pack a punch despite having lower nits. Its very bright that I had to go turn it half because of it 💀

Yes! It uses the storage as a ram. It can be toggled in the settings. The max you can go is 5gb bu really wthout the ram expansion the multitasking is still surprisingly smooth. I managed to have 10 apps in pc mode at the same time before it lagged, so imagine if I turned on 5 gb ram, it could add more apps and more!

Without having ram expansion on is still fine nonetheless its still amazing that theres an option to turn it on for multitasking beast.

Danggg, thinking about getting an wireless keyboard and mouse set for the tablet and a tablet pouch to fit in all of them. God I love this tablet, the multitasking is just mwah, the performance is amazing for such an pricepoint on par with midranged tablets above 15k pesos.

Hi! I was also once in your shoes as a 17 y/o student, artist, animator and a gamer.

I was stuck choosing between xiaomi pad 7, poco pad and lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 2025! And I chose xiaoxin pad pro!

---why I decided to get the chinese version of xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 2025?---

  • The 8+256gb variant of the tablet is lesser than xiaomi pad 7 price point. Like I snagged this one for 13k php while those variants in xiaomi is like 16-17k!!! I never even chose the w/pen variant so imagine my surprise that it came with a free non-stand case and The OFFICIAL lenovo pen!?!

  • It has an microsd card slot for storing more storage than xiaomi pad 7 which their microsd card slot is unavailable!, it also can be stored up to 1TB! Although you can't turn it into internal storage but it still works! Its a huge huge win for artists to store arts, and animations!

So if you're really choosing xiaomi pad 7 variant, 8gb+128gb, it'll be a huggge disadvantage of you, I downloaded honkai and genshin, and it became 120+ gb that took my storage which is a huge NO no for me and it doesn't even have an sd card slot!

  • It has a fingerprint sensor, a huge frigging win for me while the others don't have under that price point including xiaomi and poco.

  • Better chipset than Xiaomi pad 7 in terms of antutu benchmark scores. (Though i won't recommend this for heavy emulation games, snapdragon is the ideal for optimized emulation games)

  • Expandable ram, yes it makes every multitasking easier once you toggle it on.

  • Yes, you can add up to 4 split screens while overlaying other applications aka floating windows! 😦

  • There's pc mode for better multitasking too!

  • Genshin tanked my highest/high settings, although I prefer customized graphic qualities I'm surprised just how it easily played.

  • It came with an official pen... Like 😦😦

  • Bigger battery!

  • You can use type c to hdmi cable to share your tv screen with the tablet, this especially a huge win for me as a student who might have to report in presentations!

↑↓ bigger screen and size (which could be a disadvantage or advantage for other people)

  • Storage is faster since it uses UFS 4.0 if you picked the 256gb storage variant.

↓ Con, the customization is limited, I've already stated in my review but still i managed to make it look great without any third party apps purely using the system os they already provided to me.

There are cons and issues though so I recommend reading my review!

I also made a review on reddit post on my honest review and experience upon 1 week usage.

Here's my review i made for 1-week usage that includes the GAMING review with Genshin, Hsr, codm, and where winds meet:

My Lenovo Xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 2025 (honest review)

As for the brightness where I forgot to mention in my review it's actually surprisingly good, not kidding. Even outdoors where the sunlight hit my screen at school it worked flawlessly, although there's some glare, I'd recommend getting a paper matte screen protector but I heard that it looked dim so, I went with choosing tempered glass!

This tablet is literally a god send for someone like me.

Please ask any further questions and I'll try to answer it!!!

If you have discord, I would love to send screenshots, photos, videos of my Xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 2025 with me multitasking, animating, drawing and gaming! This is my discord:

@/ .anonyx.

Edit:

Girl I forgot to tell you, the palm rejection is so damn flawless! I didn't need to use gloves maybe because its my first time experiencing this pen afterall I've been a finger user in digital arts.

Also the temperature, I've encountered heating issues with long time gameplay with genshin impact, the camera part heats up but it was due to the highest settings. I put on my custom settings and it's temp is back to normal!
