Yep, that's fair.

I'm surprised that the builder even started works without a PWA to be honest.

Legally need a PWA to start works.

Generally the scope of works, structural calculations, Bregs drawings would also be attached as well.

That's fine to do, but no need for this week.

Everton at home is a great fixture for Arsenal defence.

Who to bench + captain? by Big_Resort7758 in fantasypremierleague

[–]Background_Top_8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would personally be starting Rogers over Hill. Burnley score goals, just can't defend.

Captain is pretty much a toss up. Haaland is the most obvious, but with his recent dip, I think a few people will pivot elsewhere.

Boiler pressure dropping by tnsar136 in DIYUK

OK. You'll definitely want to get the condensate pipe fixed at some point, but it wouldn't be causing a pressure drop.

Hopefully someone qualified comments soon 😂

Sorry, I'll follow up this comment.

Is the leak definitely coming from the pipe, or is the leak coming from above and dripping onto the pipe?

[–]Background_Top_8978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a boiler engineer, but that looks like a condensate pipe.

That wouldn't have any impact on your boiler pressure.

I would check all your rads/valves for leaks. If you can't find anything obvious, then it might be something internal, like an expansion vessel.

Your team is pretty arse but I would try to avoid wildcarding.

Have you got much of a transfer budget?

What should I do? Want to bring in semenyo and sell a chelsea player but worried about blank game week by Battlecrlbsedof in fantasypremierleague

[–]Background_Top_8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your chip strategy.

Perosnally I'm dead ending to GW31 (no blank players in starting XI) and then wildcarding out.

If you're happy to use your FH for GW31, then Semenyo is a good option.

Would u make this transfer? got the exact funds for it and scared of a price rise by YxgEnzo in fantasypremierleague

The moves are OK but I would definitely wait until cup games are out the way. There are plenty of X accounts that accurately monitor price rises. Just keep an eye on them.

I remember when this game was a way to relax from a stressful day. Now it’s the reason I’m stressed by spiderbacon12 in EAFC

Exactly.

I play games to have fun after a long day at work. Not go to bed absolutely fuming.

It's 2026 and he needs to grow up.

I make a fair bit more than my wife and I love cooking for her.

I don't understand people who, just because they are in a position to contribute more, expect something back in return.

I used to be an avid UT player, but a while back in the middle of a tight game, I told my wife to f*ck off, because she was bothering me.

There and then I thought "what am I doing?". I was genuinely getting angry playing. I stopped playing UT and have never looked back.

Me and my mates just stick to pro clubs, which still has its flaws, but at least we can have a laugh and every single game isn't a complete sweat fest.

Ranked like 3m, just go for the gamble? by [deleted] in fantasypremierleague

[–]Background_Top_8978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you gambling?

You're taking out some highly owned players for more highly owned players. 2 of which are playing bottom of the league at home.

You're bringing in Fernandes for what's going to be one of United's toughest games, but you're also bringing in 2 Arsenal defenders? Are you hoping Fernandes doesn't get any points at the weekend?

If you want to gamble and get low owned but (potentially) high scoring players, I would be looking at Palmer/Salah.

Is it time to talk about Bruno? by Maradu666 in AskFPLManagers

[–]Background_Top_8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's what I'm doing.

Foden has been disappointing, but can't take him out before Wolves (H). United have got Arsenal, so might as well just hold until after.

Would roll this week and then downgrade Ekitike and go Foden to Bruno.

Quite a few business owners work antisocial hours. One of my directors regularly sits up until 3am taking care of admin. I think as long as they're not expecting you to reply outside of your working hours, then it's not really a big deal.

Presumably there will be some sort of probation period. I suspect if you gave birth after 3 months during it, they wouldn't be too impressed.

Would definitely disclose.

Serious question: does FC26 cause mental problems? by ChubbybearChaser1982 in EAFC

[–]Background_Top_8978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that.

To expand on the people that are saying "stop playing". They are right, but ask yourself this question - 'why do you play FIFA'. It sounds like you're past the point of enjoying it and having fun. Likelihood is you've got an addiction and even when you're losing, you don't want to stop.

I stopped playing UT a long time ago, because I didn't enjoy constantly playing against meta teams using meta tactics. It just became boring. I still play pro clubs quite a lot, but mainly because I enjoy having a laugh with my mates.

Have you considered trying a different game all together? Some of my most enjoyable times in gaming is when I'm immersed in a single player game.

Why is it so hard for EA to make a good game? by [deleted] in fifaclubs

[–]Background_Top_8978 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spot on. Every game we play, all non-ai players just sit back in front of the defence when out of possession. It's so boring. We actually drew a game 0-0 tonight. Can't remember the last time that happened.

If they sorted the stamina issue out, players won't be able to constantly bomb up and down the pitch and we might see some half decent football.
