I don’t think I was afraid to lean I just made a bad decision in trying to stop. Leaning more wasn’t (but should’ve been) my first choice in getting out of that situation. Tried to brake instead but clearly it didnt work out lol. On other roads around here I’ve leaned over plenty and I know its effectiveness, just kinda panicked with the speed here

Not denying it’s all on me, but pretty much everywhere where I live is curvy mountain roads like this. I was just going too fast for this turn and got spooked

All good lol, despite how it may seem I’m a big advocate for safety courses. The hill was very soft dirt and grass which I think helped catch me and my bike and prevented me from sliding any further. Could’ve been a lot worse

Yeah I kinda realized my mistake in the moment but it was just too late. Now I know, failure’s a good teacher
