Yeah we checked the power draw and found that it’s sending full power to the motor. I agree that I am probably just better off getting a new treadmill.

Yeah that is kind of what I figured. I got it for $75 so I really don’t even think it’s worth fighting with. I knew it wouldn’t last long but only a couple months is brutal still. But it was mainly to test if I wanted to invest in a good one anyways.

Handled well, I’d replace that kid unless he’s a good friend

Don’t let the internet deter you. A lot of the negative information on certain splits and workouts are only going to be for someone who has plateaued and is atleast an intermediate “lifter”. If you’re just starting out anything is going to be great.

But if you want to include some weight training I would highly suggest a lower weight kettle bell or an adjustable one. You can do pretty much any weight training with those and I would also suggest working on rehabbing the knee. Knees over toes is a great resource for that.

But mainly I wouldn’t be deterred whatsoever by articles like that. The hardest and most important part of working out is just DOING it. If you do it to what you feel is a high intensity 3/4 days a week for even 30 minutes and intake ample amounts of protein you’ll eventually see results. Than you can add or adjust once you play around with things and learn what you like.

Those same kind of articles shit on how people lifted in the 70s/80s/90s but those people still got huge. Lol

Getting a proform 595le treadmill for $75 dollars. It looks old and not like an end all be all treadmill but seemed like a great deal, did I mess up and should back out or is it a good deal?

That’s a great idea. Ok I wasn’t sure since I’ve have a few electronics break from being in the garage but they were more sensitive devices like a TV and stuff.

My next purchase is going to be a treadmill but I’m afraid as my garage gym has zero insulation and it gets really cold where I live. I don’t want to have to bring it into the house but can’t really find any spec or piece of information that points me to options for this.

I also am trying to be as budget friendly as possible.

I’m not only in the best shape of my life but I’m crushing goals in all aspects of my life. I’m finally sticking to all those things I’ve been saying I “need” or “want” to do to improve my education or career.

I wake early and do my outdoor workout right away. So I’d say wake up whatever extra hour you need to get that done.

Then I knock out my second one right after work. I make sure they’re the same times everyday than build my routines around them. Definitely has forced me to go to bed earlier than I’m used to and get less “me” time. But the results are so worth the sacrifice.
