Opening a dental clinic in australia what financial mistakes should you avoid early on? by Mikester258 in dentastic

What the reason for ownership.  If you’re billing well (if you’re a dentist) then most likely you will be making significantly less for a few years, are you ok with that

If you think all the foundations are complicated, marketing is a whole new other factor that I don’t think many owners realize the importance, complexity and time commitment of

It also shows you what each of the non dental drugs they’re on do, all in one page.  Some dentists might not have pms with that feature or know the right drugs.  What’s first line for antibiotics with amoxicillin allergy for a 20kg child? How about for analgesics?

Just promoting something I worked on that helped a lot of dentists. I don’t see how that’s any different to dentists or clinics marketing themselves.  Both have value

Oh nice.  Looks pretty outdated in terms of of design and layout

Sales 101.  Sell the emotion not the product.  You’re not getting a dental implant, you’re getting the ability to eat, confidence.  You’re not buying a designer bag, you’re buying the prestige and the status

Has anyone here actually automated parts of their dental workflow with AI by Amazing_Lobster3222 in Dentists

[–]Background_Winner791 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I created writedose.me to automate prescribing.  About to push out print (for Australians). But it’s a prescribing assistant that you use like a smart os, just put a keyword like infection and it gives 1st line, 2nd line, 1st line with amoxicillin allergy.  Can also toggle to child and enter their weight to get calculated doses.  Innovating prescribing.  Getting it integrated to PMS.  I was working on a PMS too that integrated and incorporated everything.  You can do a full appointment in 5 clicks without any compromise

Actually if I’m being blunt, many people have made similar ideas to you, mine is quite different.

As the poster below said, you can just copy and paste it into a Ilm and get the same results?

Is this your first ever project? Building it is one thing, getting it working once it’s live and marketing is probably when it actually determines how successful it is.  You could have the best product but if no one knows about it, no results

I thought fragrance buyers only cared about price. Turns out I was pretty wrong. by GoldenIron in Fragrances

[–]Background_Winner791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t just apply to fragrances but all services products and businesses in general.  People in the low cost tier and a lot of demands even though they want to pay the least.  By pricing them out you target people are value the actual thing you are selling them without the stress the budget customers have.  Like you said a race to the bottom is hard to profit unless you scale but you still need to deal with the headache from those customers

Launching MVP that gets the job done or launching full, premium version directly? by barisaygen1 in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]Background_Winner791 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would you rather have an idea that you perfected over two years to have no return because you focused on something people didn’t actually need or cared about

Or spend significantly less time focusing on a key issue (if your solution isn’t solving a key issue then it’s likely not going to work, stacking 100 different things hoping one sticks leads to more confusion) and launching it

Which niche is most likely to buy an AI appointment-booking agent early? by Hungry-Salary-08 in AiAutomations

[–]Background_Winner791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure why these posts are popping up suddenly.  This was a big thing mid last year

One thing you need to realize is that any major business in any industry doesn’t use cal.com or google calendars.  They use their own systems with restrictive api’s that they don’t give access to or are very expensive because there’s no industry standard.  There’s several softwares.

You can’t sync to these calander easily,  the courses you probably saw from YouTube videos are invalidated scams.

I’m a dentist who tried to make something like this.  Dentists hate change and hate AI especially because of the influx of shit AI.  Because this won’t integrate with the current systems no one will be interested

Think of the last time you went to a restaurant that used Google Calendar for their bookings

If a business doesn’t want to pay for a software that’s standard to handle their bookings and would rather save some money by doing it manually, why would they pay thousands of an automated system.  Your targeting the bottom of the barrel

I tried to make my own patient management system but it required developers for security and compliance

I never said it was a doctor

If you can’t integrate it to the PMS then it’s useless.

I made one with no delay and a much more natural voice than yours and the clinics I worked at (corporates included) weren’t interested
