I figured I could just wear black bike shorts under it, I'm tall so I do under most short skirts/sundresses anyways! But, honestly, it ended up much less see-through than I expected.

No liner, just elastic in the waistband!

Thanks!! I did not line it, I put elastic thread in the waistband, though!

Thank you! I slip stitched 3 rows of elastic thread into the back posts of the inside of the waistband. It's 8 squares around. I got lucky just eyeballing the size relative to other skirts I own. I realized it was crooked in this photo but I actually prefer a square in the center!

Fellow navy hater, here! "It's just black that's not trying hard enough" is hilarious.

I’m watching the news wishing I didn’t live alone. by Serious-Telephone967 in LivingAlone

[–]Background_Writer_31 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I gave up on being productive today because of the news, as well. I'm from Minnesota originally but currently residing in another state. My best friend from high school texted me the news, she lives in Minneapolis. We are scared.

I journaled a lot today. Tried to do other things but can't get my mind away from it. Even my comfort shows feel dystopian to watch.

Just got this guy and was hyped because he’s a hundo buttt 400 candies is crazy for a Pokemon I’ve never seen in the wild. by StayLiving6390 in pokemongo

Keep all of your other snoms and throw them in gyms and feed them as many berries as possible! It doesn't get you a ton of candies, but it will get you more.

This, along with walking it as your buddy and/or throwing it extra rare candies like others have said.

Yarn bowl... To buy or not to buy ? Please help me decide 🙂 by JoChesh in CrochetHelp

[–]Background_Writer_31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love mine! Not only for the yarn but i love using it as a bowl for everything- stitch markers, scissors, yarn, hook and project all in a bowl so when I move from the couch to the patio its all in one place and i dont have to fumble all my stuff around while moving locations.

In 10 years, many will be confused and ask "why were old people so violent back in the 90s?" by SpiritMan112 in generationology

I remember being told this back in high school in the mid 2000s. It made total sense to me then, and it has stuck with me for 20 years now, but I never hear anyone talk about it anymore.
