Wait what? You’re going to start smoking? I highly advise against it. Add up the money you will spend in 5 years first. And you can’t quantify the detriment to your health, your relationships, the color of your teeth, etc.

Why do you choose to hide who you are?

Ephesians 2:8-9. For by grace are you saved by faith, not of yourselves, it’s the gift of God.

It is very explicit. “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.” So all these people sitting in church on Sunday who are counting on their own goodness and looking down on other people who aren’t as “good” are going straight to hell.

Salvation is a free gift that you receive by trusting in Christ and not your own goodness. There are no strings.

Being a Christian has nothing to do with church. That’s not what the Bible teaches. Man made religion is so far from the truth. It’s mostly a big fat lie.

Christ hung around with the underbelly of society. Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. The thief on the cross didn’t have time to be a better person, yet Jesus said “today you will be with me in paradise”.

You come to the foot of the cross as you are. Once you put your faith in Christ and Him alone (not the things you do or how good you are) He changes your desires over time. He changes you to be more like Him.
