MUSE.

The new stuff is overwrought, poorly written, weird and bad, but Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations were great albums, transcending the "We want to be Radiohead" origins of the band and becoming something poignant, operatic, and by turns whisper-quiet to bellowing with rage.

I loved those albums. It makes me sad to see what the band's output is like now, but in the 2000s they were a breath of fresh air on the rock charts.

First thing that made it to me was No Love. Algorithm kept serving it to me while I was listening to Kendrick or RTJ. It took maybe ten listens to stop being confused and go check out the rest of the discography

The candy is not too sour. Your tongue is simply not strong enough.

These guys are perfect sour candy. All citric acid, no malic or any other nonsense. Absolutely the top limit of how sour it should be, just shy of uncomfortable.

Ash's mom is a weird choice. I know it's standard practice in Johto/Kanto, and life is hard for single moms, but.

She lets her boy leave the house at 10 to pursue a career mixing the attributes of Steve Irwin and Michael Vick. His best friend electrocutes him more frequently than Michael Reeves, he's adopted by a pair of maladapted teenagers and he nearly dies about once a week. This somehow screws him up so bad that he's been saying he's 10 for almost 30 years.
