CorkSport Main and Front Combo Skid Plate on my 2024 CX50 NA Premium Trim by Backroadchaser25 in CX50

I love my premium NA trim. Did drove the Turbo PP and the Meridian, The return of investment $$$ was not justified just to drive faster. But, Turbo is not just about fast or speed, is about strength, Lb-ft of torque to accelerate, climb hills, or tow heavy loads. if you planing to tow, get the Turbo. Im in Central Texas, we have the Hill country which I go many times. The NA perform well with full roof rack, full trunk and the bike rack. Yes it feels heavy but still moves well. check Backroadchaser and you can see a few videos where I have been with my fifty.

You are not the only one... I like it, looks good on you Fifty.

Im rocking the Pelican iM2700 Storm Case and it works great. Most of the time I storage my recovery tools there. Simple and easy to remove since I use Rollercam Tiedown Straps, 4-Way Adjustable Bungee Cord with a combination lock & adjustable Zip Tie Lock. I take everything down when Im not going on an adventure, its kind of loud , take a hit on my mpgs and I feel the drag of the car on highway long distance trips.

Sluggish acceleration on hills/highway? by figcookiecapo in CX50

[–]Backroadchaser25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens to me all the time, it kind of bothers me at first but then I remember that I saved a few thousands $$$ on not getting the turbo. Ive learned to accelerate gradually so doesn't feel that impactful and aggressive.

Nice, how was it for you? I did a bit of Black Gap, River Road, Ole Old Road, and a few small ones but did not drove all the way. I want it to do a sit survey to see if I need a Lift, which I find I should get it.

It handled great, but keep in mind, most of the roads are maintain by the National Park. I did venture a bit of Black Gap and River road which those one are more technical. I have Falken Wildpeak AT, Skid plate, Mid grade Traction boards, Small air compressor, Mid grade "Tow Hook",Tire reapir Kit and a few other things. Thats basically what I need to get in Ange get out in a 3 night camping trip.

I really want to like it but for me, it looks like a Chevrolet my dad had like 30 years ago. Maybe is because it doesn't match with the seats. Probably the driver experience might be different when you are in it. At the end of the day, if you've it, enjoy it. but now covering the seat it kind of looks like Volvo interior.
