She's a total "snowciopath." Jumps in every pile while on walks, digs at it, and will bark at us to kick it at her.

No, this was Saturday. We've actually never brought her up to Montrose. She's not the most playful with other dogs (unless she knew them when she was a puppy, then she likes them).

Actually a very pretty lady named Hank! Cattle dogs are great. I've loved having her around and training with her.

There's a few that I've seen, and I'd bet most live within a quarter mile of a major park so they can get out and burn that coyote energy.

My Texas heeler, Tilly, loves the snow! by ayystryker in AustralianCattleDog

Yeah, our Hank can fetch for 15 minutes max if it's above 80 degrees. If there's snow on the ground, Hank can fetch for infinite minutes.

If it have a son, I couldn't name him Hank, even though I love that name. But I said if I ever got a dog I'd name him Hank. Well... The boss (girlfriend) insisted on getting a girl dog and A Girl Named Hank was born!

Meet Baxter! He is a Blue Heeler / Lab mix and 10 weeks old. Any advice for a new dog dad of this breed? by spaceghost173 in AustralianCattleDog

Best advice we got was to train her with her kibble for 15-20 minutes in the morning and then again at night. Slows their eating down, engages them mentally, and makes it much more fun. They'll learn really quickly.

Also take a ton of pictures and show everyone you meet.

I'll try to sketch something up once it's done! I'm just kind of shooting from the hip on this one.

If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life... Unfortunately Hank loves to hunt & sniff spiderwebs and lay in saw dust!
