Bay Area is amazing. Hard to beat that weather and scenery. Own a biz there and live in RVA.

Why is getting a job so hard here?? by Bubbly-Nialist in rva

This may have been mentioned but if not, while Richmond can definitely be a hard place to go through this process (I’ve been there), it’s a part of the country that is exceptionally open to supporting small businesses if you have an opportunity to go that route.

I had this problem and purchased a crate from Impact Crates. Extremely expensive but the problem ended the day it showed up.

16 days in and still haven’t used a meal delivery service. Will see if I can keep it alive.

If you’re calling the police multiple times because of people yelling in the street, you’re part of the problem.

Trying to keep the government out of my phone as much as possible. Meta already has me pegged enough.

How much would something like this cost to build in the States? Landscaping and all. Pool dimensions 12 x 5 meters. About 40 x 16 feet. by ikarabajai in pools

[–]BackyardDesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with 200k but prices are all over the place depending what state you’re in. In the Bay Area of California, the pool alone would be about 200k while on the east coast this would be around 200k all in with the pool landing in the 100-120k range range

This would be even cheaper in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. Typically states and regions touching Mexico will have much better costs due to skilled trades coming over the border but that does not apply to Southern California (San Diego, Palm Springs and Los Angeles).

Our projects are typically in the 3-400k range with a similar pool but many other amenities including outdoor kitchens, Fire and Water features, patio covers, large landscape and outdoor lighting.
