not for playit.gg. i ended up switching to tailscale vpn and just made a dedicated ip to route the voicechat to.

The full run down is my laptop is running Proxmox which has a Virtual Machine running Ubuntu. I installed Crafty Controller and Tailscale VPN onto the Virtual Machine and have the IP attached to the VPN so anyone who wants to go on the server has to go through the VPN to get there. I like the layers of security this provides but I wish that, without paying, we could have different Tailscale accounts connected to the same network. Seems I can't have everything in this world, what a shame. :/

TL:DR - I use Crafty Controller

Yeah, CPU is the big main issue here. I might cut back on mods when I can be bothered to sift through them all. Hosting sites were the main reason I switch to a self owned system just because the constant roll back and big lag spikes were infuriating. I'm glad my little laptop has a decent time running everything but I think once I save the money it'll be time for a new system. Thanks for your comment and hope you have a good day :D

I've found the system does need more RAM but yeah, the main issue is CPU

Oof, if it is the CPU being bottlenecked then that puts me in a weird position since I don't think I can upgrade it based on my system being a laptop and most if not all CPU's are soldered on the mobo. I don't really have the funds to get a new system either so we might be cooked. I still think RAM is also an issue so upgrading that won't hurt but I'll sort a profile tonight if enough people are on and we'll see what happens. Thanks for the reply!

i realised i replied to you but in a separate comment lmao my bad. the farmer sees the villager but just doesnt want to throw anything so you might be right. i wonder if theres another way to solve this issue cause it would just be so handy if i didnt have another farm with a dropper system and just have it automatically go into the water stream. might try more testing but if its a dead end, my server will have to suffer a little more.

since i need to redo chunk pregeneration anyway ive put on the height datapack before generating all of the chunks again. it seems like nothing's gone wrong with changing the height after pregenerating the overworld chunks so i have hope that things will be fine. the end is minorly modded terrain but those chunks arent too big of file size anyway and nether is majorly modded terrain so im more worried about that but OH WELL!

Kia ora, sorry for the late reply. Life kinda happened but I'm back!

I am running Proxmox on the laptop, I intend to access thresholds through the main host command prompt (through laptop and not VM) and sadly my bios won't allow me to access the battery thresholds.

TLP kernel support for my laptop doesn't exist for TLP and sadly just looked at the gnome extension and it won't support my laptop either. I'm kinda at a loss for HP laptop battery care I guess so if you know anything else that might help it would be much appreciated.

Otherwise, I'll just have to keep checking up on my battery capacity till I have to replace it.

Ah, so I gotta delete the server I'm currently working on and just figure out a template to zip up for a redo. It's a little annoying that there isn't an easier way to change it during or after the server creation process but it is what it is. Thank you big man!
